Car strikes pedestrian on Route 7 Thursday, Jun. 2 by Laura Peters | 3 comments | Email this story 0ShareAn Ashburn woman was hit by a car on Route 7 the evening of June 1.
Kiera Small, 20, was trying to cross the westbound lanes Route 7 near Campus Drive in Sterling when she was struck by a 2008 Pontiac Grand Prix.
According to the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office, Small tried to cross although the traffic light was green for westbound traffic on Route 7.
Small was taken to Inova Fairfax Hospital, and her injuries are non-life threatening, according to authorities.
The incident is still under investigation by the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office Crash Reconstruction Unit, and no charges have been made.
