Police Investigate Stabbing at Party
Sully Police District -Police were called to a report of a brandishing of a firearm and an assault at a party in the 6700 block of Jenny Leigh Court in Centreville around 3:15 a.m. Sunday, May 22.
A group of four men showed up at the party uninvited and were reportedly asked to leave. One of these men reportedly produced a gun and made threats to the group. A19-year-old man observed the situation and got involved; wrestling the gun away from the suspect. During the scuffle, he was stabbed. The teen was transported to Inova Fairfax Hospital where he was in life-threatening condition.
A 25-year-old man, one of the hosts of the party, was also injured when he was assaulted by one of the uninvited guests.
The group of suspects fled on foot.
Police interviewed dozens of party attendees and are continuing to follow up leads.
The four suspects are described as men between the ages of 18 and 20.
