It's... Fairfax Christmas Lights Time

Well it's a day or two after Thanksgiving so that means it's time to start thinking about Christmas lights. LOL

Holly sent me an email saying she has changed her site to http://www.fairfaxchristmaslights.com/ She'll be updating the site around now with details of whether last years displays are up this year -> Check out the tacky blog for display turn on dates - http://fairfaxchristmaslights.com/WordPress/index.php

NOTE:
DO NOT ENTER ANY LIGHT DISPLAYS unless invited or there is a clear path. Otherwise, view only from the road or sidewalk. This is for your safety as well as for maintaining the display. These folks go to a great deal of effort to set these displays up and do not want them damaged or broken by thoughtless visitors. Show them the respect they deserve by being a courteous guest when you visit. It’s a shame I have to even point this out but some people can be so rude and uncaring…

I might also note these people put great care into their displays so don't be surprised if they also have video surveillance and alarms to protect them.

I went there lat year with my family. Just as we parked and were making our way to the "rides and entertainment" part at the end my 2 year old niece freaked out and wanted nothing to do with all the noise and lights and people. So we left THANK GOD. The show is pretty good for lil kids and older people but not really that exciting for teenagers, 20 somthings 30 something etcetc. unless your totally into whimsical......
