George Mason plays Villanova Friday at 2:00pm. Villanova might lose this one, but then GMU has to play Ohio St#1 overall to win. Doubt GMU will get past Ohio St.
Old Dominion plays Bulter St Paddy's day at 12:40, Old Dominion could win this and then has to play Pitt which they might win that.
VCU needs to make it in, then against Georgetown, VCU will have a tought time against Georgetown.
VA Tech just didn't have it this. I think they should of been in over VCU, but VCU and a stronger schedule and played better.

They will leave the court for just seven minutes, then scream "WTF!" at all the other team's cheerleaders while Villanova scores unopposed baskets when the ref says they have waited long enough.
When they lose the game, they will file complaints with the league saying they didn't get enough time to express their side of the game, and have their friends post preposterous stories on Facebook, turning their plight into a cause.

I have no love for Villanova, they just aren't Mason with that silly sign of theirs. They won't make it past the next round, even if they luck out their they don't stand a chance against either Kentucky or WVa.

Mason did get some questionable calls, but in the end they played slow and steady basketball and that always wins it.

It was funny listening to the announcer for the GT vs VCU game start to make excuses in the first half. The quote was something like, "Well the Big East is so tough that these teams don't have anything left in the tank when they get to the tournament". Even if that were a good argument, it's simply not true. VCU had to play 2 games in less than 3 nights traveling from virginia to ohio to illinois in between. Georgetown had 9 days of rest since their last game. Maybe next year we don't give 11 bids to one conference.

Sorry, that argument is lame. From the looks of it, the ACC will have 3 teams in the sweet 16, more than any other conference. If you want to say that's mediocre, I guess all the other conferences just flat out suck.

Sorry, that argument is lame. From the looks of it, the ACC will have 3 teams in the sweet 16, more than any other conference. If you want to say that's mediocre, I guess all the other conferences just flat out suck.

The ACC is a fantastic conference, usually the best in my opinion.
But if we're measuring by sweet 16's, a sweet 16 for the CAA is about equal to four in the ACC.

There's a new Cinderella in town and it's not George Masons Homecoming King.
VCU has a good chance to surpass George Mason's famous run. Butler a #8 should be an easy team for VCU to beat on Saturday.

There is no way VCU will beat GMU's run. The NCAA is discriminating against GMU because it has black players. That "spot" in the top four was really GMU's (they called it, vacated it, and now want it back).
