Did anyone see it?

He was at the Bull Run Shooting center and then at the NRA building.

I did - - he is a fairly entertaining host. Not a highbrow show, but not bad for a Tuesday night if you have nothing else to do. I'll watch it again.

It's amazing how quickly he picked up the accent...must've moved to the deepest part of the deep south

The show is a lesson in how to be a redneck. Most of Virginia doesn't need any help.

From Wiki:

"According to a CMT bio, Whitney grew up on a pig farm in Pawnee City, Nebraska.[4] Whitney went to college at the now defunct Baptist University of America.[5] He credits his roommates from Texas and Georgia for developing his Southern accent skill.[6] He dropped out after his junior year after trying his hand at comedy.[6]"

I watched it. That was the 2nd week in a row he was in Fairfax! Last week he was at George Mason University, then this week he was at the NRA. That was pretty cool.

Holy Jesus!

I thought the guy was putting on the accent a little, but it's a total character role thing.

Kind of makes me wonder about a lot of the ethnic comedians now too.

Actually, there aren't many rednecks at the NRA. It's mostly just your typical wealthy NOVA people who happen to like guns.

I'm a Redneck and proud of it. I have been to the NRA range and felt
like I was surrounded by a bunch of yuppies. I also noticed the parking
lot was full of Beemers and Benz. (throw in a Hummer too) They aint Rednecks
by my definition.

gotta love how the nra ignores the range rules when the big star comes to town. like wearing earplugs instead of cones and shooting .50 BMG rounds when the max is .460 weatherby mag...
