I just moved to Annandale and looking for a local cheap barbershop. I keep my hair relatively short which leaves very little room for a fuck up. with that said, whats a cheap place around here to get a haircut?

WAL•MART SELLS "WHAL" BRAND CLIPPERS FOR $15
THEY ALSO HAVE A PROFESSIONAL "CHROME" SERIES FOR $35 WHICH IS
A BIT NICER, AND COMES WITH BATTERY POWERED MINI CLIPPERS FOR
DETAIL/BEARD TRIMMING.
IF YOU ARE A GUY AND WANT THE "FADE" LOOK USE THE #2 ATTACHMENT
ON TOP AND THE #1 ATTACHMENT ON THE SIDES.
START WITH THE TOP [#2] THEN DO THE SIDES.
WHEN DOING THE SIDES CUT FROM BOTTOM TO TOP OF HEAD.
LIFTING THE CLIPPERS @ THE TOP OF YOUR STROKE WILL GIVE THE FADED LOOK.
I KNOW IT TAKES BALLS TO DO IT FOR THE FIRST TIME BUT IF YOU FOLLOW
THESE SIMPLE INSTRUCTIONS, NOBODY WILL KNOW YOU DO IT YOURSELF
UNLESS YOU TELL THEM.

NOW THE NEXT TIME YOU GO TO COUNTY LOCK UP,
THE OTHER INMATES WILL BE THROWING THEIR COMMISARY AT YOU !

Can't get any cheaper than a "Moe Howard"...all you need is a salad bowl and scissors.

It's the haircut your Momma lovingly gave me, that I wear to this day.
And then you ate out of the bowl that was on my greasy head.Thank you, Mamma ME.

The one on Little River Turnpike in the strip mall next to the Blockbuster and Dollar Tree is really good. Its $12 and I've never had a problem there, the owner (first chair by the door) is the best.

I have not tried the place yet, but I've read that Dynasty Salon on Little River Turnpike in Annandale is very good, and not too expensive.

Salon Prive in Lorton (down Pohick Road, turn right at Lorton Station Blvd.) is a great salon. John and Omar know how to cut hair!

At this time (Feb 2011), most of the Springfield barber shops are $16. (Bob's, Kevs). However the new Korean joint in Brookelfield plaza ia charging $12.
