I think there are UFO's visiting us in FFX county. I live roughly 1.5 miles away from I-66 and Nutley Street. At least once a day [usually at night after 10pm]. I'll hear a sonic noise outside in the sky - it lasts for 3-5 seconds - a rise and then fall in pitch. It's not a boom but rather the sound of a passing object in the sky. It's definitely not a plane. Often I've gone out to look in the sky and see nothing. On a rare occasion I've heard the noise twice. Supsiciously, the following days I often see the men in black, in their black SUVs and ear pieces combing the Nutley Street/Pan AM area.

I write this in fear of my own safety and that of my family.

Anyone else around the night in November when there was a UFO spotted over Lee Highway?...Coincidentally that same night me and my friend stumbled across some spookey crap over the headset of our phone. Hard to explain via computer but it sounded demonic and like that voice from the 4th kind if you've seen it.

Right, but the technology for the new planes doesn't completely obscure the accerleration sound of the air as the aircraft goes from relatively slow speeds to extreme high speeds. So the sound factor will be an ongoing problem fro some time to come. ***Note: For some of the remote controlled units the acceleration factor is so fast, that it is in fact too fast for a human pilot to survive.

I saw a flying saucer out my bedroom window, two nights ago. It was circular and hovered right above my pear tree. It had 8 windows with little red lights.

It made a pulsing sound that is difficult to describe in words.

It seemed to be aware of me and started to move closer to my window. The red lights got brighter and faint beams of light radiated from the saucer to my window. I think this is how it gathers information.

Suddenly it disappeared.

And, get this: My hair is now curly.

I wasn't abducted the other night but I'm positive they absorbed my information and somehow that process sent energy to my hair follicles.

This isn't the first time this particular circular UFO watched me. Back in '87, I was taking a bath when out of my peripheral vision I saw the beams of light. I stood up and looked out the window. There is was, hovering in my back yard, and staring at my naked body. I'm positive it took my picture, probably a few of them.

After a long look at me, it disappeared. Later that day, I noticed two thumb marks right above my private area.

DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA -- I have been fascinated by UFO's most of my adult life and was watching a couple of DC webcams over the weekend and captured these objects from different cams on February 17, 2011. I know there is a No-Fly Zone over the White House and nearby areas and wondering if anyone knows what these objects could be.

Note: These cams are refreshed every 10 to 15 minutes so they represent only a moment in time.

And now one of our reader requested us to publish his observation regarding this UFO sighting. Here what he have to say about "Gainesville Virginia UFO Flap".

I wanted to first agree with the posters that are investigating the skies of Virginia. I too have read the latest Sighting Reports in Virginia and agree there has been a large increase in and around this small town of Gainesville Virginia. I have long kept a close eye on this small town near Washington DC because it seems to be at the top of the list in Sightings- Why would this be, and what would bring UFO's to the small town of Gainesville Va. I might have the answer-I have finally uncovered that during the Major Washington DC UFO Flap of 1952 there was a UFO Crash that occurred in Prince William County and seen to crash by dozens of credible witnesses near Gainesville Virginia.

Other UFOLOGIST and Investigators have suggested that since Gainesville Va is only 30-40 miles outside Washington DC this area could be used discreetly for an underground UFO base or possible staging area, I can't deny this and that this could be one of the reasons to explain all these Sightings.

This noticeable increase of Sightings in this small town I think points to something a little more dramatic and mostly unknown to the public.

During the invasion on Washington DC in 1952 where hundreds of UFOs where spotted in DC and Va both visually and on radar, there was reported by dozens of spectators including four(4) pilots and one Astronomer that one of the UFOs was seen crashing near the town of Gainesville Virginia in the county of Prince William. A military response followed but reportedly the crash site was never found. The UFO crash was also reported in the local Washington DC newspapers and all publications were immediately suppressed. There is one newspaper publication that survives of the crash today.

Since this event is currently being revived by the sheer numbers of current UFO reports in Gainesville Va, I have to dig deeper and try to uncover what has been going on around this small town and why. I hope other UFOLOGIST and investigators will join my quest and start to focus there energy towards this ongoing UFO Wave/Flap. Being in the UFO field for now over 30 years I am going to start and open an investigation around Washington DC and start my research at the obvious UFO Flap occurring in Gainesville Va.

I don't think many investigator know but during the famous Washington DC UFO of 1952, there was a reported UFO Crash that occurred in Gainesville Va. I suspect this could be the reason for the ongoing activity.

The Truth Is Out There. And apparently, the truth is located hovering high above a high school football game being played a mere 425 miles away from Roswell, NM, where any Ufologist worth his weight in conspiracy theories knows is the epicenter of the UFO phenomenon in these United States.

As you can see, there appears to be approximately four orangish, brightly-colored orbs moving to and fro seen in the video which was recorded during a game played between Horizon (Scottsdale, Ariz.) and Notre Dame Prep (Scottsdale, Ariz.) last Friday, Oct. 28. The video is short, but one cannot deny that there was something up in the sky that night, although the source of the suspicious sighting is surely subject to interpretation.

Isn’t that quite the coincidence, in light of the fact that there was another suspected UFO sighting spotted above Notre Dame Stadium during a weather delay at a Fighting Irish game less than two months ago?

I'm from arizona working in tysons corner virginia. When I went outside I saw these cool flock of birds flying around so I record them. later on when I went back and watched it I saw a strange lights come down then horizonal across the sky line. This takes place approximately 29 seconds into the video just above the birds on the left hand side. I took this video from my droid phone and can only see it on my droid phone so if anyone has a better way of zooming in on it to tell exactly what it is please let me know or repost thank you. ps I'm not some ufo nut job it might just be a metior but I thought they shot down words and not horizontally then back up.

Coming from someone who believes in UFOs and things of that nature - it was clearly just a reflection of the glare from the sun somehow manifesting on your lense.

it is actually in the video more often than just at 29 seconds.....

at 4/5 seconds you can see it just above the flock
at 24 seconds top inside of flock
again at 29 seconds......

THEN at 57 seconds you can clearly see it is a GLARE because it is moving across the building and not in the sky......

Just last night in the Chantilly area, we were in the family room watching tv when all of a sudden there was a really bright flash of light outside. So bright that it distracted us from the tv and we all looked towards the window and door (french doors with window panes).

We immediately muted the tv and opened the door a bit expecting to hear/see a police helicopter overhead with a spotlight, but there wasn't anything there.

Not sure what it was.

To the OP, I hear those same sounds every night, too.

When I first moved to the area I actually found it quite disturbing.

I looked into it and found out that the noise is caused by static engine tests at Dulles airport. No more need to worry!

I was going through recent reports of UFO's in the area over the past few months and found this one from the end of May in Fairfax. Did anyone else see or hear anything? I recall several threads about strange noises on here.

I looked up and over as I was on my way to work. As I looked up I saw a cigar or disc from the side was white but not reflective and just sitting behind the power lines at first I thought it was a plane. Then after a few seconds I noticed the plane was not moving. I asked the driver to look he said he saw something, and I watched for at least 5 - 6 seconds, when the trees blocked our view we decided to turn around and take a look again. The object was gone. It definately WAS NOT an airplane - there was no wings and it was hovering still.

This one is not from Fairfax, but nearby Haymarket VA....

It's probably just planes taking off or landing by the airport. You know there is an airport in Manassas right?
