I have a question regarding the search engine and apostrophes. Do they work? Does the search engine support them? Say if I typed in something such as O'Conner or O'Donald or something of that nature, would the search query work?

If you are talking about the arrest one, they don't store apostrophes in the name fields. "O'Connor" is "OCONNOR".

Good call pgens.
If I get a free second today I'll modify the arrest list script to automagically remove any apostrophes from the search field. Thanks for clarifying things for everybody.

the earliest weekly arrest list I have is from the week of 4/18/01. however my archive is spotty up until about june of 03 when I built a script that pulled down the arrest list every week and added it to a master database. I am actively searching for the missing holes in my database. I believe I have a few of them on a laptop downstairs that I need to tear apart.
