Hey everyone-
I know people have been asking on this forum before, so I figured I would make a post and let everyone know- NoVA finally has a smoke shop!
The Glass Stache is located in Old Towne Alexandria (222N Lee St) and stocks everything the modern tobacco smoker needs!

We carry Dragon and Sonic.
Sadly we do not carry Lucky Strikes yet but I will put it on my list of things to look into. Just to start with we figured we would rock the Nat Shermans and then get requests from our customers on what else they wanted.

We dont have anything on lung cancer- I am happy to talk about it with people, but I would refer someone to google for research.
Filtering smoke though water does help with carcinogens, but the ultimate way to "smoke" while minimizing health risks would be Vaporizing. This method removes the nicotine and other chemicals with out combustion to the plant material. While vapor is not smoke its about as close as you can get with none of the carcinogens from burning.
John B Hayes is an old school tobacconist- we are a new school shop with health conscious alternatives to wood pipes such as vaporizers. I am not saying they are bad by any means, I checked out their shops website and it looks like they have a great selection... I will have to stop by some time.

As far as the artist we carry I think Carver B takes the cake for me.... while his stuff is expensive its got such a nice weight to it and the work is almost always perfect. The Implosion marbles he does just have so much depth I feel like I could reach in and grab something.
While I only have one slide by gateson recko I think hes up there as well.... his marbles are so amazing... I just keep finding new things every time I look at it that ive never seen before.
Hard for me to pick one thats a favorite though.... I really love it all.

We don't carry the magic flight yet, its in the works though.
We do carry the N02 though... its similar to the magic flight but larger and a bit more refined (LED display, temp settings, larger battery etc)
Ill order the Smoking brand of papers next go around... for the time being the Hempires are a very similar product. I have them in king size, 1.5 and 1.25.

stopped in yesterday and picked up a helix bowl and met chip and his business partner. i could definently tell the shop just opened but they had a great selection of pipes and so on. it seemed slightly pricey but at the same time it was high quality glass. i would HIGHLY RECOMMEND this place to anyone looking for a clean shop with personalized service. if you're under 18, dont bother. they will ID you straight at the door (which they should). it was very professional and i can honestly say these guys care about their work. GO SUPPORT their business as much of the glass is fairfax locally blown and looks great!

We're working on getting trash catchers and bowls but right now we just have Toro tubes.
We have a pretty nice selection of some 18 slides... none of the toro pinch bowls, but quite a few that function in a similar way.
We're really happy to be here- I got a lot of love for the other shops in the state/ area but im proud to be able to offer the NOVA crowd a local option.

AJ and Quinn are great! I bought some smokeable insense and they let me try it out in the back before trying. Also they advised me on the best bong for my weed. These guys are awesome, 35 bucks for an eighth of AK47. Awesome!
