They reported on the news a couple of nights ago that it wasn't "random in nature." In other words, they know who did it, and they want us (the general public) to stay the hell away.
Believe me, they really need your help. I am friends with the family and we dont know much else other than what is being reported either. Its horrible not to know...I know it seems the Poice dont want help because they arent offering information but they say thats because only those involved know the details. I dont know, we all just want some answers.

How did you hear about a knife? I keep looking for more info but can't find anything. Unsure if its random or target, hard to think a robbery will happen midday though, unless they thought no one would be home.

Then you would think they would figure out who did this. If they found a knife it probably has fingerprints or DNA or something. That makes me really believe it was a target especially in that neighborhood. And where the hell is the car???
