I can only hope people are being supportive of his family and that there not reading the terrible things people are posting about them or there son R.I.P. Bo. His family should be prayed for and left alone right now. Humanity is sick for posting the terrible things they do.

Here's some logic for you, Aristotle:

Drinking alcohol changes your perception and clouds your judgment, making you take risky behaviors such as sitting in the middle of the road. The road is where cars drive. Cars are a ton of metal moving at rapid speeds. A stationary human body lacks the mass, density, and inertia of a moving car. If a moving car strikes a stationary human, physics makes the human body its bitch. Thus, it's advisable to not sit in the middle of the road, drunk or otherwise, because it will lead to serious injury or death.

And yes, it's completely logical to stop reading something if reading it makes you upset.

You people are so cold, heartless, and disgusting. It's sad you've never been able to experience the good things in life, such as friendship and love. So your need to come on here and waste your pathetic lives must just be a meager disgraceful excuse to fill the void that is eating at your pathetic souls.

Bo, you're in a much better place now. Rest in peace, and keep watching over everyone.

What a sad & tragic end to such a young man who had his life ahead of him.
I'm really concerned about all the crazy things that have happened to The Westfields HS students over the years:

1) shooter from Va Tech went to Westfield's HS.

2) shooter at Fair Oaks police Dept (killed 2 police officers) was a student at Westfield's HS.

3) Know of a student who commited sucide their freshman YR at Penn State.
Graduted from Westfields HS.

4) Now this student that lay's in the road.

WOW!

I still don't understand what type of parent allows their 15-year old to go to a concert without adult supervision and then kicks them out of the house when they come home drunk?

If hat boy was my kid, he would have had a size 11.5 shoe print on his ass as I kicked him to his bedroom and grounded him for a month.

I'm not trying to instigate anything... and I think it's tragic the poor kid is dead.

Yes, I knew one of the boys who died on August 15th after a night of partying at Jiffy Lube. My son was best friends with Derek Meffert who was the 15 year old in the car. The driver was 18 year old Stephen Dixon and they were even pulled over after leaving Jiffy Lube for speeding on Heathecoat and not given a sobriety test or even a ticket. I feel that this one thing could have saved Derek's life.

Jiffy Lube needs to loose their ABC license because a few weeks prior to Derek & Stephen loosing their lives, a boy named Taylor also died after leaving Jiffy Lube Live. I don't remember hearing about any deaths when it was Nissan Pavillion. The new owners appear to be criminally negligent.

Ah, yes. Instead of being a responsible parent, make the venue stop selling alcohol.

Maybe we should sue whoever made the bumper for the car, since that's technically what killed him, not the alcohol.

Point #1 - It's "lose" not "loose".

Point #2 - JLL cards everyone who buys beers. Now we all know there are ways around that if you're underage - no matter where you go. And at the 3 concerts I've gone to this year, the staff has been very proactive in swooping in getting control (at least around where I was sitting). This summer, I've seen them pour out smuggled beers and airplane bottles of liquor, throw kids out for aggressive moshing, inspecting people for smoking weed, and underage drinking.

It's not INSIDE JLL where the problem is but rather the tailgate outside. Many who party there do not even have tickets. Simply carding anyone drinking outside who appears even close to being underage would go a long way. Call the police on anyone underage caught drinking and this would slow things way down without infringing on anyones right to enjoy themselves legally

I didn't know Bo at all, but I am so sorry to all of his family and friends. Those of you who post bad things about him, think about after you die. Would you want these people to be expressing their opinions so disrespectfully on forums that are supposed to be for support and help? Despite what you thought of him, Bo had people that loved him and will miss him terribly. Insulting these people by insulting him is a horrible thing to do. These people hurt with every word you say, and denying them a good image of him after he's dead is robbing them of all they need to move on. From the outside, people can misconceive someone's personality and values severely. But those who were close to him and actually knew him are the only ones who actually have the right to judge him. And they all say he was a wonderful person. Only those looking in from the outside are brash enough to insult him.

first off, all of you trolls that had the nerve to go on the r.i.p. bo rupp fanpage, fuck you. that page was created to have a place for friends and family to pay their respects and support each other. now? it's a fucking joke because trolls are making fake accounts and screwing with everyone. honestly, if someone close to you died, you wouldn't want people to say inappropriate, disgusting remarks about them. and if you did? well then you're just fucked up in the head. nobody would want people to say disrespectful things about their mom, dad, brother, sister, best friend, etc. think about all of the effects of the comments/pictures you're posting. his close friends, who are most likely emotionally unstable, are getting even more upset because you're posting some stupid picture or comment that is inappropriate and has nothing to do with bo. making sick jokes just means you have no life. get outside, get a life, and grow up. making fake facebook accounts is just stupid. you're paying no respect to the dead. It wasnt an "ACCIDENT" as you and others refer to this incident. He was sitting in a road. That fact that he got hit by a car is no accident, rather the result of an intentional action -- sitting in a road, with predictable consequences - getting hit by a car using the road.

What's going on here is known as "Thread Necrophilia" as opposed to what is happening to Bo right now, which is known simply as "Necrophilia".

Someone mentioned the Rupp and Richter families being great friends/neighbors. Was this the same community with the heroin ring at Westfield High School/Anna Richter?

Yes, several times. Everyone always braces for the shitstorm but it never comes, this site already gets huge amounts of traffic. Link to other media mentions is http://www.fairfaxunderground.com/forum/read/2/307552/307606.html

Here's a lesson from this story. If parents would let their high school kids drink a few beers at home, they wouldn't lose their minds the first couple times they drink. And guess what...they are going to try alcohol anyway. Supervised or not.

There are a bunch of college presidents that are trying to get the drinking age lowered to 18 so college kids could drink at bars and other places and be monitored. Now we drive them underground and they get completely wasted because they have no supervision.

Let the kids booze it up some and they won't freak out so bad when they finally try it.

First off, what is a 15 year old doing drinking?

Sitting in the middle of the road, behaving like an absolute douche, yet some want sympathy.

Darwinism at work here. When you act like a fool, you end up dead.

Whenever anyone dies you should be respectful it's bad form to speak ill of the dead no matter the circumstances. Kids do dumb things regardless of parental supervision or not. Parents give their kids a little more freedom in their teens. He was 15 his parents are not going to sit outside and watch everything he does. This is the time where trust is built. Obviously they trusted their son not to play in traffic. None of you have the right to say anything ugly about him or his parents. If it was your son, brother, cousin, etc you would be devastated and reading posts via internet by people you don't even know could be heart wrenching. Have some respect, stop being ignorant, grow up and be more considerate of your fellow man.

Well said. I mean, the fact that he died should be enough for people to be nice enough to either say something nice like R.I.P or just say no shit at all, circumstances not mattering, because if it was your brother, or sister, mother, father etc, you'd want that respect yourself

Just because someone dies, does not make them some sort of hero. Had this teenager been killed tragically, he'd have my total sympathy. Drunk or not, fooling around and then expecting sympathy is not acceptable.

Generally speaking, this sort of idiocy and its defense from faux parents, is why teenagers in our area are such f-cktards. I am by no means speaking about this family in particular, as I do not know them, yet I am not surprised at this.

I do not believe anyone on here is wishing death on anyone, let alone this teenager. However, you cannot excuse that he screwed around and paid the price and dearly. No different to me driving 70Mph+ and then ending up dead. Should I receive sympathy for acting like so fool?

While my sympathies go out to the family and the individual who for no fault of their own, now has to suffer because of hitting this teenager, there is a lesson to be learned here.

But unfortunately, folks here on FFXU are a lot like Rev Phelps Westboro Baptist Church minions. They act like they do because they can, and I suspect that they continue on for a variety of reasons.

It ain't right, but it is what it is.

yeah, memorial is there. judging by the police markings on the road, looks like he was dragged about 40 feet. Also, no skid marks, so the guy in the suv hit him at full speed (prob around 45-50 mph).

This incident reminds of the drunken dummy who stood up on the top of a double decker bus headed to a Nationals game and lost his head (literally) when the bus went under an overpass. Many people got bent out of shape over the lack of respect for that man's death too. But clearly he was an idiot, doing something irresponsible and reaped what he sowed.

Everyone always looks on the bad side of everything that has happened at Westfield HS. No one ever looks at the successful kids that have come out of there. Here are some examples Eddie Royal, Brent Bowden, Sean Glennon, and myself. I am not of the wiki page for Westfield Hs but i consider myself lucky to have been able to go to Westfield HS. I graduated in '06 and i am an Engineer for a large government contractor. I have held engineering jobs since my first job designing car parts during the summer of my junior-senior year. I became a proud homeowner before i turned 21 and at the age of 22 I am happily married and planning to have kids in 3 years. I understand that there have been some "bad seeds" at Westfield but they are few and far between. I chose not to do stupid shit just like everyone else had the opportunity to make the same choice. You can’t look at the few that made the wrong decisions and judge the entire school body; everyone is an individual in that case. I knew some of the smartest, most talented and most gifted people i have ever met while i was at Westfield and i am proud to say that i am a bulldog. This tragedy was an accident and no one is at fault. 15 is a hard age to be these days, and it was an extremely difficult time period for myself as well. Some days i did just want to lie in the middle of the road and see what happens. Respect the family, friends, and Bo by sending your condolences and forgetting your insults. Reverse the situation onto yourself one of your family members die in a tragic accident and people say the same things on blog describing your mother as a dumb dirty whore that didn’t deserve to live in the first because her life was solely meant for sucking dick in alleyways. You wouldn’t like that would you, so do us all a favor and shut up. R.I.P. Bo Rupp I didn’t know you but i still respect you. To the Rupp family and friends, I am sorry for your loss and we will keep you and Bo in our prayers.

It was probably one of the FXU misanthropes trying to taunt and get their jollies off someone else's tragedy. Disgusting.
