Why is there a satellite with cover on top on Ladue Lane?

It’s off Popes Head road off Ladue Lane. Off a gravel road behind a huge black mechanical gate that you can’t see through or over.

It’s a Fairfax County road maintenance yard and storage facility. The radome-like building is for storage of road salt.
