Who is Lee Jackson?

So one day I was driving around Stringfellow Road and I ran into this road with a sign that says "Lee Jackson Mem Hwy". Who is this Lee Jackson dude? I haven't seen anything of him online.

Lee Jackson was the african american nigger that invented carjacking in the late 70s.

Wrong, LeRoy Pimpbro invented carjacking. Lee Jackson invented chicken stealing in the 1850’s.

Okay, so that's why they renamed it from Little River Turnpike during the civil rights era.

Lee Jackson was one of the Jackson 5. He was tragically killed in a car wreck on the highway so that is why it is named after him.
