You hit the nail on the head, you're not dealing with six different people. Also there's a lot of people who will start a job and not be able to finish it for whatever reason, it's very common that they'll just leave a job to take a higher paying one but then you have to find someone to finish it. You are paying a higher premium but at the same time it will all be done and usually in much much less time. Also the people that do it as a company tend to all be bonded and licensed and insured, rather than getting people to do it who don't have any of that and possibly screwing up your house with no consequences to them.
