Before you give me a hard time on here, I used to post under a different name. But reading through Peekza's posts really started to piss me off. The guy is just so boring and monotonous. yeah, it was alright...I enjoyed Drab dropping the hammer on Zohan...Yambag was kind of meh...It sounds like they have moved on from ever getting a terrestrial gig, which is sad, because I miss terrestrial OaD...I don't know how a xm/sirius version would do though...

Glad to see Sven is back, not just because he's a fellow gay man, but also because he's one of the few mildly entertaining non-3. 15 or 20 pages ago, Peekza admitted that he used to be a regular peanut gallery member, and he said that most of the guys had very little personality. Guess that's why he liked being there (zing!). But seriously, at least Sven brings something to the table.

I've been enjoying the show much more recently. The Sven episode was actually pretty damn awesome. You get the big Sven reveal and him really just baring all. Then you get the big Zohan reveal that he's actually a bigger fucking asshole than anyone thought. I was never a huge Sven fan. Didn't dislike him or anything but he was never the most entertaining for me. I loved Beau during the terrestrial days and Ryan the racist was a close runner-up. Lots of funny moments that were directly involving those two. I still have the Arnold Palmer thing saved on a hard drive.

The latest episode was pretty good with drab busting on Zohan and some reminiscing. Oscars cackling is still brutal though. Things that are barely chuckle worthy have him literally clapping and shrieking like a 10 year old at a magic show. It's tough to ignore no matter how hard I try. Fucking O'Meara ruined that guy.

Overall though, it's been a good month. The last episode went well over an hour and 30 minutes as well. It's good that they're not getting stuck in the same formulaic bullshit that Mike's show falls in to. If you have a good bit going, or you're on a roll, you don't need to stop to read emails or (shudder) read the news.

I must've missed where Peekza said he was a peanut gallery member. Is he that guy that Drab has a crush on and Chad exiled? Wasn't he a workout guy or something? I black out most of the peanut gallery info, so I obviously don't know his name.

I think that there is a small group of people who love SOTR, or maybe nobody likes it except them and it's an excuse for Chad to stuff his face.

In general, radio bits work well on radio, not so much visually. The episode where Chad and Oscar went to the chip factory was sadly unfunny and uninteresting. It was like a fourth-rate "Unwrapped" episode.

I certainly wouldn't...Snacks was my least favorite bit, followed by the game where they read movie lines...

Tuesdays shows were very snack oriented, but 2/3rds of the way through the show bobby gave chads snack a 2, which turned into a big drama for probably 10-20 minutes.

For those of us that don't want to wade thru all of this, what was the big Sven reveal?

Drab hunted Sven down, Sven is back. Zohan was suspended for 2 weeks from his show duties, though they did let him play snacks. Sven will be co-hosting the minority report with Steve Pietaster, and doing the sports show with that goat guy and whoever else is on that show.

Some show topics, chad is 45 minutes late due to traffic, drab gets hosed by his landlord. Oscar blames drab for not reading the lease, but doesn't seem to think the landlord was being shady until later after chad showed up and agreed with drab. On reloaded they talk about california and the confederate flag, movies to tv shows, zohan watched wrestling.

What did you think Jander? I enjoyed the Drab and Oscar show....I can't believe Drab didn't read his lease....Why did he think it was so long? Loved Chad bitching about nobody bringing paper towels or chips and everybody bringing meats instead when he specifically bitched about nobody wanting to bring meat and trying to load up on paper towels and chips...How did he not see that coming?

What did you think about last night's show Jander?

I will say that I would read the entire lease, though if it was truly 15 pages long I could see it getting missed somehow. It's definitely a dick move by the landlord, but can't really cut drab the slack. He's certainly in the right to be annoyed.

I do wonder when the landlady got his check for the first month under the increase, did she expect him to know or was she expecting to make the call saying hey where's my extra money.

I think if chad wants to put together a potluck and wants it to be organized the sign up process needs more structure. I wasn't going to go back to listen but I do think chad had said yes I still need someone to bring paper towels and chips but I just need one person to do that.

I'm usually a dessert bringer myself, homemade of course.

It was definitely shady as Hell, but he should have read it all before he signed.

i did think it was odd that drab would take the night off to watch the draft, but then again I'm not a person who sees the draft as a reality tv show. I tend to just want to know the results, which are easy enough to find anywhere within seconds.

I've been listening to some occasional junkies episode podcasts and I did like that they were giving drab crap for staying up late only to watch his seahawks trade out of the first round.

also speaking of the junkies, I heard the second racehorse valdez got has been winning some money. I wonder if drab regrets not trying again, though I had thought i heard valdez had like 3 or 4 investors this time, and I wondered if drab is still in but at a smaller stake and just not telling the BOAD crew.

Last nights reloaded was one of their typical recaps of another show. They just talked about the Minority Report for half the show. No one listens to that shit so I dont know why they waste so many of their shows talking about TMR and the show that talks about their show. They hammer on Zohan pretty hard. He is a world class dickhead. I cant beleive anyone is friends with him. He is such a passive agressive upitty bitch.

They also talked about the new spider man movie. Is it just me or do they talk about these movies way too early? They recap and spoil the whole movie when it has been out for less than a week. They do this all the time. I usually skip over any new movie talk they do. Sorry I dont have time to see a movie on opening night just to hear discussion on it from a podcast.

Although you ripped off my username (I didnt register it), I do have to agree with you on Oscar. His cackle is so cringe inducing. He screams at the top of his lungs at stuff not even meant to be funny. I laugh that hard maybe once every 2 weeks and he laughs that hard 60 times during a one hour podcast. Jesus dude..... tone it down a little. I dont know if anyone else notices, but he also has started doing this subdued incredibly obviously fake laugh when he cant muster a cackle. Hes been doing it for about 6 months and it might be worse than the cackle. Its hard to describe. Kind of like a closed mouth murmur with an open mouth HA! at the end. If you dont know what I am talking about I can try and get a time point during this weeks free episode. Although once you notice it, it will start to drive you crazy.

I dont know why he continues to force laughs like he has to do on the MOM show. BOAD is actually funny, just laugh when something is actually funny man.

It's rarely on the first page because the show was so bad for so long that only a few people hung on. It's a shame too. They basically committed a slow, two year suicide of their brand. They ended up turning the corner slightly, but everyone already wrote them off as dead.

While I don't generally give a fuck about spoilers, they don't seem to care AT all. Chad seemed really mad about Godzilla and what they spoiled with that. I understand the criticism but sheesh.

Am I the only person who agreed with drab that his gf running out of the movie theater was no big deal? Chad seemed extremely insecure there, especially since he basically said he would have told his wife to get out of there just like drabs gf did on her own. Also from some of the things chad has said about his wife I get the impression she had some anxiety issues, and would likely be very prone to flight in emergency situations.

I really doubt that chad would divorce his wife if she ran in fear from explosion sounds in a theater. But he sure laid into drab about it.

I'm done with the show. The "Coors Light is for Blacks" non-sequitur did it for me. It wasn't funny or accurate, and I'm tired of trying to figure out what's wrong with Chad.

I made note of 2 of the (thousands?) of times Oscar did his new horrible fake laugh during this weeks free show "We All is I." 3:13 and 41:01 were 2 times that it really jumped out at me. So awful..... How can he call himself a man???

I haven't listened to the show yet, but I just played those two time stamps. While that laugh is annoying as hell, I'll take that over him screaming at the top of his lungs into the mic. Im sure there were a few of those moments as well.

Never posted here, but have been reading for some time. I need to get this off my chest as I don't have any friends who listen (I would be embarrassed to tell them I enjoy this show in its current state).

What an awful use of Dan Hsu, these guys don't play or really care about video games. Chad won't play a game that has even a inch of difficulty and then will blame everything but his own ineptitude the moment he has to actually demonstrate skill. He only likes Bioshock because it basically holds your hand while you play on anything but the hardest difficulty. I don't understand why he doesn't just give them up altogether. He's a generation or two older than me so I guess this must be normal for somebody his age. The medium has passed you by, rube.

Frankly, I'm starting to feel I'm about to drop the show for a long while. Chad's idea of cracking wise only involves racist and grossly sexual/homosexual shtick aka the lowest hanging fruit on the tree. It's a shame that Drab nor Oscar don't challenge his views more often. He is so close-minded that I frankly don't know what he'll do should his lackeys ever decide to grow up. I would also love to ask Drab and Oscar if they truly think he has a problem with alcohol. From his weekend recaps to his personal views on drinking, it's a pretty dangerous lifestyle taking his weight into consideration. He's probably going to get pressured into being a father soon so I pray that he takes a long hard look at his life. I'm ecstatic that he's attempting to join a gym but he's never going to make any progress if he's consuming all the carbs (beer) and fat (bbq) that he indicates makes up his diet.

God, this thread is a fucking wasteland. Figured I'd bump it to say I enjoyed the last show again. Not a fan of interviews, and I'm not a gamer, so I skipped the dan shu segment. Even with skipping it I still got well over 60 minutes of show. I really like that they started going long if they're on a roll. It's a goddamn podcast, no time formula/breakdown is needed.

Kind of felt like an old wjfk show. Lots of ball breaking by using soundboard clips, a bit of time talking up records and then laughing at the peanut gallery trying to string a few sentences together to talk up records too. Self loathing Chad (the funny Chad, not the un-funny redneck Chad) talking about his weight and his new gym experiences. Not going to be everyones cup of tea, but I enjoyed it.

Now back to the wasteland with this thread.

If I had called it a "cultural wasteland" that would be different. I clearly did not. I said this thread has become a wasteland, which is completely different and was clearly a comment on the lack of posting going on in here. A lot of forums even have a "wasteland" where all the old, unused threads go to die. It's actually a very basic term that the majority of forum users are aware of. It has absolutely nothing to do with TS Eliot.

Ah, actual discussion of the show. Guess I'll stop arguing with the troll and discuss the show.

I think the racial comments are simple due to Chad being a "pleaser" personality type. He has now surrounded himself with rednecks and I'm sure that humour goes over well with them. I really think it's as simple as that. He's only been making a few racial comments during the show now. I'm assuming Oscar or Drab asked him to tone it down a bit. I really hope the self deprecating Chad from the last show sticks around. He's really funny when he's taking shots at himself and discussing his insanity. Not so much when he talks about how awesome he is while throwing in weird racial jokes.

And after all the positives I've spoken about the show in the last few weeks, this weeks show sucked so much. First 30 minutes was just Chad ranting about gun control, "narcist" liberals, the redskins name change, etc. It was red-neck hour. They finally started talking about something funny when they found out that Oscar is reading one of those "improve your life" type of books and has his and hers bookmarks. He lied in the previous weeks episode by saying the bookmarks stickies for him to take notes. They started to bust on him for lying and how embarrassing it was. It was classic old big o and dukes. Aaaand then they interviewed some country singer for the rest of the show. Such a fucking waste of an hour.

You don't use the word narcissist, but the above description of Chad, which you wrote on April 2, 2014 (9:18 pm) paints him in a narcissistic light. It's sad that you can't even remember what you wrote within the past two months.

Maybe you should try to expand your mind with a little poetry. You are dumb, so I'll keep my recommendation simple. You should check out Brenda Shaughnessy’s Our Andromeda (2012). Her impressions in these poems are tenuous, almost as if she fears the periphery.

The post you quoted from me was explaining that Chad is a huge fanboy and throws little tempers, like a child, when he doesn't get his way. That's not a good example of a narcissist. A stunted, man-child perhaps, but not a narcissist. Try again though. I'm sure if you go back far enough you'll find a post where I call him a narcissist. That doesn't change the fact that you misunderstood (again!) the post you originally quoted and thought I was calling him a narcissist.

I'm actually not a huge poetry fan. I do enjoy astro-physics and areas like black hole physics though. When there was a huge burst of X-rays from the andromeda galaxy a couple weeks ago I was one of the nerds that got excited since there's never been a gamma-ray burst that close to us before. I was also one of the nerds that was disappointed the next day because it wasn't a gamma-ray burst. I've really been getting into Lee Smolin's theory of cosmological natural selection. It's been criticized quite a bit, but I think it's an interesting new take.

Chad is a narcissist, and a piece of shit, and a poser. I really hate him for ruining what was my favorite radio show and then podcast.

Did anyone else listen to last weeks yambag episode "PD in the PM?" I forgot to mention it last week but it was brought up around the 1 hour mark that drab actively goes looking for people talking about the show, made me wonder if he really is in here.

This weeks episode of reloaded was pretty good, they harassed oscar about his drone/happiness/and family issues. They planned their midyear xmas celebration and started forming a best christmas movie bracket when chad flipped out at drab and nixed the whole bracket and gift exchange.

Jander, did you think the free show sucked as well? You said the reloaded episode was good (which I would know nothing about) but I really thought the free show was a waste of an hour. The PD in the PM episode I thought was really entertaining, old school BOAD. I don't understand why they can't string a couple of those types of shows together. We get one good episode, then two pieces of crap. It's frustrating.

For all the guys on here that question why Drab and Oscar don't stand up to Chad more often, listen to the last few minutes of Thursday's show and you'll get a small taste of how angry Chad can get. Agreed. But for some reason, the show randomly cut away at 54 minutes for me. I downloaded it through the podcast app. Never had issues before. Shit was just getting really real and it just ends. I'm going to find the rest of the show because it was pretty damn entertaining up to that point. The show seems to be on one shitty show, one good show schedule recently.

never addressed on the show but chad hit oscar outside the studio in phoenix. that's one of the big reasons why boad got fired out there. its also why the guys stopped hanging out outside the show.
