Of course, a seasonal pumpkin beer is way too mainstream for Dukes.
If he were consistent (we know he isn't), he would just start drinking Budweiser or Original Coors. Maybe some Jim Beam and Jack Daniels to switch it up. Basic Americana.
His overall wearing, hillbilly heros wouldn't be caught dead in the "cafe" at Whole Foods drinking microbrew. Of course they also wouldn't wear some designer American flag scarf either. Or pile into a hot tub with other obese men at a beach house.

This is coming from a man (used loosely) who is, according to himself, a very knowledgeable person when it comes to video games. Now analysts are saying GTA V should cross one billion dollars in sales in 6 months.
I also thought it was funny when Chad was giving his one friend absolute hell because, supposedly, the friend was going to college for computer science and loved video games, specifically Bioshock. Chad 'knows' Ken Levine and claimed he got this guy a great job and how stupid the guy was to go to college and not take this gift and drop to his knees thanking Chad. The job was for QA. Those employees are contracted right around minimum wage are virtually NEVER promoted and are fired constantly for on reason at all. No one cares about their opinion or feedback. Chad was so unbelievably stupid he thought because he interviewed Levine, that he could get his friend some 100k a year job with no experience needed.

Dukes is likely just cranky because no one at Rockstar responds to his tweets, while the Bioshock guy actually has a couple times.

At this point I listen because it's only an hour out of the 20 or so podcasts I listen to regularly and it hasn't piled up in my feed. I do sometimes think about unsubscribing to it and subscribing to The Nerdist instead.

I always thought it was funny how much Chad pushed Oscar being from such a rich and wealthy background (and Oscar acting like he was as well). Then you see his parents house that Chad keeps describing as a palace and won't stop talking about how much money they have and it's simply a normal single family home with some fairly tacky interior decorating.
I always thought Oscar had grown up in some Potomac mega mansion... not a normal single family 3 bed 2.5 bath home in Olney.

My biggest objection to the fry off is that I don't think sweet potato fries are a type of cut of fries. It's just a different type of potato, cut in any of the other ways. They could have at least swapped those out with Home Fries or something, which actually is a cut and has fries in the name.
I also kind of agree with Oscar saying that tater tots shouldn't count, while delicious and potatoey they aren't fries, and if we count tater tots as fries we might as well be counting hash browns, why not mashed potatoes too?

Saw Dukes at teh Caps game last night. he looked heavy, as usual and very uncomfortable to be at the Verizon Center. he's representing a radio station who is broadcasting the Caps and is there at their stadium. Perhaps he doesn't wear a Nats hat and maybe he wears a little red for opening night. Dick.

I'm 5-10 and weigh 175 and I'm 20-25 pounds overweight...If I weighed 210,I would be a certified fat-ass....Way to raise the bar Tubby
