Twice lately I've had angry guys cause me trouble at work and I don't get it. Not sure if Gen X is having a moment (both white guys around that age), or if people are just stresses about masks and now gas shortages, but there's no need to come into the Fairfax Wegmans and berate people because, say, the lights in some freezer doors are off or there's an ice cream that's empty. If you came for something at the pharmacy, I get it. If they don't have your Viagra, you're kinda fucked. But this melodrama about "they're forcing you to open every door!" as you slam them (it's not your property to beat up, dude) or "that's not customer service/it's popular is no excuse" (it wasn't said as an excuse) is too much. Tell you what--when YOUR wife gets cancer and you have a department that's down three people, come tell me what I'm doing wrong. In the meantime, what the world does not need is a cavalcade of losers whose biggest problem is that their ice cream isn't there. So get a different flavor and get on with your life...if you have one.

I try to have as little human contact as possible when shopping at the Fairfax Wegmans. The staff there are friendly and professional though. I'm sure most people who shop there are "above" having to work retail, Fairfax has become a magnet for those people unfortunately.

So many entitled douche bags in this area. Super dickheads everywhere.

Gen xer here, and what you speak of is true. Sure it does happen all over the US, but no area comes close per capita to the entitled self centered me first types, than northern Virginia. These people treat the workers everywhere bad. What's funny is they don't get it that you get more out of them if you're at least civil & even more if you're actually polite & day simply please and thank you. You talk to them as if they were human beings instead of animals or mongoloids.

Take Nats Park. There are some things not available due to COVID-19 restrictions & some of the policies & procedures are by order of DC Government or MLB. These employees get their orders from their supervisors & have to follow them or get fired. If you get shitty & argumentative with them, they do as little as possible to help you. If you're at least civil to them, they actually will try to do SOMETHING for you. If you're actually NICE to them, they will go out of their way to help you or even try to make up a shortfall to you. In most cases, being "nice" consists of taking to them in a decent manner and merely saying "please" & "thank you".

Who are the worst offenders according to the park workers? The white people from Monkey Co., Arlington, Alex & FFXCO.

Understand I'm referring to only the actual park workers. I'm not talking about the security people who wear those CSC Event Staff shirts. Those peyare the most ignorant, power happy knowitall white trailer trash or ghetto blacks you'll find anywhere. They talk to you like shit & treat you like shit too. & then wonder why people treat them like shit. They don't know shit about how things work there & they're real nasty about it, too. Lots of people complain to the Nats about CSC, but nothing ever happens.

Nats Park employees are lazy. The only reason they get a job there is because they hire people with criminal records. When the number of people behind the counter is almost the same as the number of people in line, and the line isn’t moving it’s due to LANS - lazy ass nigger syndrome. It’s like this at every sports venue in DC and even Buttmore Maryland.

What annoys me is that north of Buttmore, the service is great. Philly, Boston, and my oh my NYC. I was at the Mets Shitty Park and their darkies were moving so fast it’s like they were robbing the place. Slinging hot dogs, popcorn, whatever and beers were flowing like it was malt liquor Monday. I had an inkling why, so I asked one of the elderly Sambos if they got paid commissions and he said, “o’course”. I asked one of the Nats Park coons and he said “what’s dat” and I told him that that’s when they get a percentage of the sales, so the more they sell the more they make. He laughed and said they get a fixed price per day so all they have to do is show up and pretend to work.

Come on Nats. Give the niggers points on the package.

GF & me have no prob. getting them to wait on us. Sometimes, they see us on line & move the line faster to get to us, sometimes they pull us aside & wait on us. We do tip, but only a dollar here & there. It's mostly because we're nice to them.

Now those CSC people, you can't be nice to them. They take it as weakness & become even more trailer park/ ghetto. I report them whenever I can, although it doesn't usually do anything.

Like OP said, people in customer service positions get tired of dealing with limo libtards in this area.

That being said, Phil McCrakin--I would be willing to believe these people could be on either side of the political divide. We do have a fair share of conservatives in this area. And it's the liberals who keep insisting that people like me should get paid more. Though they could also be thinking that they're owed something just for voting. I DO think that the right has it right (but not the alt-right), but there are still assholes on both sides.

Pfft. I'm actually doing quite well there. Good pay, good benefits, and my life doesn't suck half as much as the lives of the people who shop there and are pissed about some ice cream. I have a hot wife, a house and I usually get what I want from life. But people like I'm complaining about--they just baffle me. I guess they're leveraged beyond their means even with those high-paying jobs, with failing or failed marriages to women who think it's charming to use terms like "incel".

Maybe they just can't stand that I'm happier than them. The world is still my oyster.

It's also worth noting that I rarely have to be there more than 8 hours and my commute doesn't suck. You've got some people with all the money anyone could possibly handle who never have time to enjoy it. Then you've got me.

In my experience in cust. service and dealing with the public in this area, I've noticed it's primarily libtards that are the rudest fucks. Even the rednecks, when you are out of something might ask a few questions and get pissy but it's not directed at the person that works there as they work for a living and understand how shit works.

The libtards seem to feel like something not being in stock or discontinued is some kind of personal attack on them. They literally act like I saw them buy the shit two weeks ago and (they think) I don't like them and then I called the mother ship and told them to stop making it because a libtard bought it. That really is their attitude about the whole thing and it's baffling but I guess you have to understand that's the way they are and the way they go through life.
