Homeless with children

Me and my family are homeless. We just got kicked out of the shelter on unjustified terms. They put us up in a hotel for a week and we are running out of time. Does anybody know of a place that we can work for room and board? We have 2 young children with us and 2 that are with family until we can find further shelter. Any help of any kind would be gratefully appreciated. Please please please. We are at a dead end and don’t know where else to turn.

Sign up for housing assistance and food stamps and welfare. One of you should try to get a job, other stay home and watch the kids.

Why did you have children when you cannot afford to take care of yourselves? Just give the kids up to social services they will be much better off in a foster home. For once in your life do what is best for those children.

People can be able to “afford” kids and then find themselves on hard times. Loss of a job, illness, etc. rugged individualism and bootstrap mentality is a mental illness.
