They don't. That's the only advantage I can see to going out of state. Last year I drove cross country and picked up some air bursts and firecrackers in New Mexico and Missouri. Missouri had the largest fireworks warehouse outside St. Louis I've ever seen with everything in the world.

A person with west va or pa id cannot buy from those places (respectively), but if you or I go there and show out of state id, we can buy them. So people from west va have to go to pa and people from pa to west va.

What it comes down to is these plaaces can sell almost anything to anyone who has an out-of-state id. You went to NM to buy shit you coulda got in PA.

I was up in PA for my job and yes the good fireworks are illegal in that state, so they check your ID to see your not from PA then you sign a waver saying you will take them out of PA within 48 hours and will not light them off in PA. I the PA police stop you show them the form. They are still illegal in VA and MD

That's quite interesting. BTW I didn't go cross country for fucking fireworks, I was driving from CA to here so it was on the way. I got some in New Mexico on an indian reservation and like I said in missouri. Neither place asked for an id. I suspect they do it around here one to cover their ass and two because so many people from restricted areas go there specifically for that.

Yeah, its called anfo. Amonium Nitrate Fuel Oil. Take Gas/deisel and mix it with plant fertilizer. Tim used a half a ton (1,000 lbs) and blew away half a building. Your average bag is 40 lbs, thats only 25 bags of fertilizer. Then you just need a detonator and fuse.

Phantom is the best...a huge waste of money but still lots of fun practically every "firework" holiday. Recovering redneck, can't help it. Make sure to drive legal on the way back thru VA because possession is a ticketable offense. Other choices are a couple others in PA and WV, South of the Border, or Blountville, TN.
