What should I do to my exhaust system to make my ride loud & throaty?

I know if I were to buy the right model, it would be equipped with the sound I'm looking for... right off the showroom floor!
Right. But I want make it happen on my own. Dealer loud is not for me.
What do I need to look for? I've seen some rides sound like Harleys but others sound more refined, say, like a Lambo... I'm seeking to hit a tone somewhere in between. Thanks.

Well you could pay a muffler shop $$$$
and get a complete stainless steel exhaust system with Flow Master muffler's or you could DIYS and buy 2 new Trush glass pack muffler's, a hack saw and 4 muffler clamps for a fraction of the cost. The choice is yours.

I would suggest you get a gun, put it to your head and pull the trigger. Nobody wants to hear that bullshit noise you prick. Sorry your penis is 1 inch long, but a loud exhaust is still not going to make you a man.

Back in the day some manufacturers included gates that could be removed for racing on Sundays and reinstalled for getting groceries on Mondays. If you are going custom this is a tried and true method. Loud and Throaty.

Yep. A Tesla will quietly smoke the shit out of any of the cars the douchbags on this thread have. Noise does not equal speed. Noise does not equal coolness. Noise just makes you look like a small dicked asshat.

So quit trying to act like one.
Anyways, what engine does your car have? I'd start by cutting off the rear cats and putting in a mid pipe, will get you some sound and HP without being too obnoxious. You will still pass emissions fine with your main cats on the header.

The frog car, model 3 performance? Nope.
The antiquated looking model S perf? Okay maybe from a dig in the 1/8th but in the quarter or from a roll, not a chance.

Agree that Tesla's are highly over rated, but in the case of getting off the line quickly isn't that all that matters around here? There aren't many stretches of road where you would continue to accelerate for even a 16th of a mile.
Every time I hear some guy rev up his engine, whether it is a little rice burner or American muscle, I always wonder what's the point, I prefer to avoid speeding tickets. Those things are just screaming to be pulled over for reckless driving. I understand for bikes the concept of loud pipes save lives but every time I hear one of those overly loud assholes driving by I really want to add another dent to my truck.

It's cute how these poor fucks spend all their McDollars on stupid ornamental bullshit for their ricers, then wreck them and insurance pays nothing...or just rag them out. Then they scream inequality because they are poor.

Haha!
Free speech is one thing.
Loudass shitmobiles cruising the hood while you're trying to sleep off another working from home day of heaven on earth is another thing.

Yep. And if you drive like a prick, like a lot or motorcycle riders do, expect me to reciprocate. I'll put my 4000 pounds right on your ass. Run away prick...if you think you can.

Sure, go after a 600 pound bike with a 6000 pound weapon. I seriously hope, in a shall issue state, someone shoots your stupid ass and gets off on self defense.
But you'd actually have to leave your moms basement, and own a vehicle...

With all the people who don't know what the passing lane is for, I quite often find myself doing 60mph - 100mph pulls where the Tesla lacks.
