Thomas J. Mueller: Avoid Him and His "Partnership Offers"
Posted by: Scam Buster ()
Date: May 19, 2010 02:55PM

Avoid Thomas J. Mueller.

He posts on Craigslist, inviting people to become "partners" in his "Global Voice Translation" company.

The man is a fraud. He works with two other known scammers, Yasmina Kamal of Ft. Lauderdale and Manny Testa of Panama.

Mueller will try to get you to work for free.

Mueller has been unsuccesful in raising money. Mueller has not paid on contracts he has executed.

Mueller has been taken to court, he's always lost. As a result, the "patents" he claims to have (and probably does not) are now encumbered by these judgments.

Mueller was evicted from where he was living in Marshall, VA and supposedly moved to Manassas.

He holds "meetings" at the Panera in Tyson's Corner.

And here I thought Craigslist was a reliable source for business partnerships.

HA! I guess the idiots that fall for this scam don't notice they are conducting a business meeting in a glorified fast food restaurant.

But so does the guy who heads up Centreville Days. His "company" has get togethers at Panera and he will swear to these meetups. You saying it might be a scam ...

Yeah, but does he give you free lunch at Panera at the meeting? If so, I'm in. Will work for chicken panini.

He is tall, with an awful combover of wavy blond hair.

Glasses.

Types very badly, uses punctuation strangely.

I told him from the beginning he had to pay. He did not, I sued him and grabbed the deposit at the place he got evicted from. Loser.

He does not pay for anything at Panera. In fact, he goes in there with a McDonald's coffee.

He claims to be a real estate agent, he has a license but not with his current details.

He emails from PW County gov't, probably a library.

If the meetings were at Vienna Inn, all would be good.

Here he is, has to be him, from 2 days ago in the "wanted" section:

I am looking for a local business man or woman who can assist me financially with my new company? I am starting a new company based around my new invention I am working on. It's called the "universal language translator." This is blue-tooth technology that will translate any spoken language instantly into your own. Until someone invents a world language, this new technology will be a nice bridge. The language barrier in the world will finally come to an end. We will make a ton of money. Thanks. Tom

That reminds me of The Simpsons episode where Homer's long lost brother Herb invented a translator that translated a baby's cries into adult language.

I second all of this.

I have not yet sued him because I do not know how to find him.

Anyone who has taken him to court or has any information that will lead me to him, please post it here.

Yes... I AM one of the idiots who gave the man money.

P.S. Reward for information leading to him.

Tom is a sociopath. If you want to find him, he has at least two ex-wives here in Northern Virginia. One, Jean ----- ----, sued him for divorce years ago.

The case records are in the archives of the Circuit Court of Fairfax County located across the street from the GMU Field House at Ox Road and University Drive. Jean really hated him. They were married sometime in 1979-81 (forget the exact year) and then moved into her condo at the Rotonda in McLean. After they split, he owed her a ton of money and disappeared. About a decade afterwards, he returned to town and decided to live at none other than the Rotonda. Jean found out about it, and the sheriffs deputies came looking for Mr. M and they got him.

Tom later married Vanessa, a lovely Asian who also thought he was Prince Charming. Later she changed her mind. Those divorce records are likely in the Circuit Court of Alexandria or Fairfax.

why don't you just answer one of his ads pretending to be someone else and plan to meet him. Then when you see him you can beat his ass.

He hangs out at the Panera in Tyson's and the library in Manassas. Why do you want him, he sounds like a loser?

He is a family member of an in-law. We've been trying to ascertain whether he is alive or not, just so that everyone will know what is going on with him. Just because someone does bad things does not make it easy for people to forget the love and concern they have for a sibling.

Are you saying that he currently hangs out there or that this is where he's been known to hang out? When was the last time someone actually saw him?
