Fairfax County General :
Fairfax Underground
Welcome to Fairfax Underground, a project site designed to improve communication among residents of Fairfax County, VA. Feel free to post anything Northern Virginia residents would find interesting.
Finally time for me to get glasses (made it to 49 without them). I checked Washington Checkbook some fair info there but I wanted to ask here for recommendations of a good place to go get my first pair ever.
Check out Dr. Khalil in Reston, VA. I know some folks who started going to him when their Optometrist left the region.

If you just need a refraction, there is no reason to go to an MD. Besides, a lot of insurance plans won't pay for refractions given by ophthalmologists.
