Fairfax County Announces 100th Corona Virus Death
Posted by: Doctor McKay ()
Date: April 27, 2020 11:53AM

April 27, 2020 - Fairfax County announced today the 100th death in the county attributed to the Corona virus, along with the milestone of 3,000 reported COVID-19 infections. The death occurred in an undisclosed nursing home.

The infection curve is still on a steep upswing in Fairfax County, with no indication it will level off any time soon.

While the Fairfax County Health District does not publicly provide detailed data regarding the pandemic, infections by zip code and magisterial district are available to county supervisors and county staff as needed.

Fairfax County residents are reminded to continue following the stay-home orders issued by Governor Northam.

Wow. That means 0.272% of Fairfax have got the Rona! And 0.0009% have died.

At this rate it will take a bit over 8 years for 20% of Fairfax to test positive. No worries though, by then we will all have died safely in our homes from starvation.

This is fake. They have indeed been showing where it is via zip code.

Unlike smaller counties, Fairfax does not provide data by zip code. Official policy:

Case Rates by Combined Zip Code. To protect confidential health information, case rates are being presented in combined ZIP Codes grouped by the first three digits. Rates per 100,000 residents in a zip code to provide comparable information across zip codes. Cases only represent a place of residence and not where transmission may have occurred.

If you could find out how many residents are in each zip code, you could calculate actual numbers based on their rates per 100,000, which is very misleading as it groups rural and high-density populations together in many cases.

Because Fairfax Station (22039) is the same as Annandale (22003).

What are they hiding?
