FCPS School Board Meeting - Thursday, September 26 - Name Change AGAIN

The school board wants to change the criteria for renaming schools. They want to keep this quiet. The new criteria will allow the school board to quickly rename schools they want without any community input or justification.

This is in keeping with the "One Fairfax" policy.

31 schools have already been identified for name changes including TJ (Thomas Jefferson), Chantilly, Langley, Madison, Mt. Vernon and more)

This is expected to cost about $30 Million dollars.

If our school district has an extra $30 Million for these vanity/social justice project, I want a refund on my tax bill.

One of the schools should be named Jesus Sanchez Arujo Mendoza Gutierrez for he is the soldier that brought us here through the desert and the woods and the rivers. he is a true hero to all of us

These are some of the names that will replace existing ones.

MLK HS, Obama HS, Malcom X HS, Hillary Clinton MS

If there’s one thing white and darkies can agree on, they don’t want to live near anything named after Martin Lucifer Coon Jr. it brings down property values.

FCPS has too much money if the school board can spend $30 million on these social justice projects.

They should get back to just teaching the kids.

What did we expect? The Board changed one school name and now.... hell, that’s just the start. Let’s vote all of these irresponsible people out and leave the ones who use common sense and transparency. Does that leave one or two? Forget about political parties. It’s public school. Forget about who might have hurt feelings about a name on a building. Focus on what’s important!

No suggestions, just a reminder!!! MLK should be considered a racist in today's Demokrat Party! He believed in equal rights, not special rights! Come to think of it, there are flaws with every suggestion. What did Hillary Clinton ever do other than bomb Libya into the stone age and be the first woman to lose a Presidential election to TWO second rate opponents. As for Obama, Obama was Obama. He ruled with a pen and a phone but forgot that he was using erasable ink!!!

How about this. You want to change the school names as to avoid anyone being butthurt over some perceived racial, societal, gender slight. Let's change every school name to a standardized naming convention that most schools in the Northeast had, and some still do. Every school will be called PS###, for Public School ###. So Chantilly could be PS17, and Oakton could be PS13. Maybe elementary schools and high schools could be differentiated by having one have three digits and the other two digits. Or the schools could be numbered based on when they built. Would that make everyone happy? (probably not!!!)

Get rid of those hateful mascots too. An eagle? Everyone knows eagles disproportionately poop on people of color, so how can you people continue to support such blatant racism?

What you are forgetting is that libtards must always have a triggering event front and center. When the economy is booming and jobs are plentiful they will throw tantrums about the weather. Take away Russia and they start on Ukraine. Change the school names to numbers and they will shift to the next bullshit item that they can spew faux indignation about.
