I once saw a ten point buck on Blake Lane when I was living in Oakton. It was in a field next to where Friendly's was. I think it is a retirement home now. Beautiful animal just going about his business. Plenty of green space into the early 90's for animals like that.

On another topic...why the hell do they still have signs saying "No Thru Trucks on Blake Lane" on Rt. 123? They widened Blake Lane almost twenty years ago. It is not the narrow road with the big hill with no sightlines it once used to be.
