Totally understandable actually how the assorted clownfish here find the details of OUR lives so much more compelling than those of their own. Of course, we get to wake up whenever in the sunlit woods, fields, and streams of the Sweet Spot, take our time making and enjoying pots of freshly-brewed single-estate Kona and some suitable form of breakfast before we head out again for our reserved parking and Club Level seats at Nats Park. That’s a very different routine from what the ever-embittered bozo boys will be going through today. Very different indeed.

So all the pieces have now been put back in place out in the Sweet Spot. Not much good news for the Nats on the field tonight, but it was nice to see the Red Porch people once again, and even more so to hear that Tommy is holding his own. We’ll be back at the park on Saturday vs PHI, so we’ll see how everyone is doing once again then.

Not really. First time all of our Ballpark Pals had been together in quite a while, so we made an easy-chair circle in the Club Lounge and stayed warm in there for all of the pre-game. I do like the Mayor in general though. There were yard signs for her at the old SEDC townhouse, and we drive right by Black Lives Matter Plaza on the way to every game. Haven’t really followed the stadium situation anyway. We were very involved with local government back in 2004, but that was baseball. And Anthony Williams. As for Youngkin, well, he’s a ho. It was the early 2000s when we shifted attention to upgrading the Sweet Spot for our own eventual retirement. Going quite well so far.
