The quickest way is no food just water as much as you want , That will drop weight fast and after a couple days make you weak and your done, add some bread on the 3rd day and a grapefruit and you can keep going even thou you will think your a prisoner on 600 calories a day in the hole. Stop Drinking Beer ! Take 1 shot of liquor a day in the morning no more, good for HDL C and keeping the blood from sticking, good for the heart but no more then 1 shot. It also takes away the urge for any other booze drinks
Drink a few cups of Coffee and lots of water a day
Eat veggies salads and low fat chicken and fish , carbs like grains are good but don't overdo, You have to have some potatoes and pasta now and then for the brain to keep you happy !
If theres no good choices where you work bring your own as much as you can
Have a good dinner 1 time a week when you want with one beer or a drink but don't overdo it
Walk Walk and Walk some more the cheapest and best exercise you can do anywhere your at anytime you want
Look for low fat low carb tasty food recipes on the internet or in cookbooks at book stores and magazines and try them instead of the same old things

"Grilled Shrimp On Greek Salad Platter
Put a platter best or plate in the reefer to chill
Grilled Shrimp: butterfly some big shrimp by shelling them and leaving tail shell on, cut along back a bit remove sand vein and open them, that's what they call butterflying shrimp makes them cook quick.
Put in a quick marinade of minced garlic lemon juice olive oil oregano and some pepper or cayean pepper a pinch or Cajun spice mixed up, let them sit at least 1/2 hour the garlic flavor is what is best
Grill on bbq quick or broil or bake in oven at 325 12-15 minutes keep a eye on them till done or you can sauté them in a bit of olive oil or butter
Wash up salad from a store salad bar or make yourself and drain it and plate it with a couple of Greek Kalamata olives from Trader Joes and Son of Italy Golden pepperoncini "Sweet" peppers. Sprinkle with some feta cheese crumbles and Greek dressing over the salad and put the hot grilled shrimp on top serve with warm flatbread or pita cut into quarters
