Open. At work now. Got stuck behind 6 plow trucks on the toll road doing 25 mph. They all ignored their red light to get in front of me and caused me to be 10 minutes late to work. They were boxing me in and trying to keep me from exiting. Normally I wouldn't flip the bird to a plow driver because without them we'd all be fucked...but these guys can all suck a donkey dick.

I love it when they PURPOSELY try to be jerks. That's what I bought a 4x4 for. When these clowns pull this shit, I ALLWAYS go zipping around them on the UNPLOWED shoulder of the road, just to be a show-off asshole.

I was in a 4x4, but the prick kept speeding up each time I tried to move around the guy in front of me. He kept honking at me like I was the asshole even when I was only trying to exit. I gave him the biggest middle finger I could muster complete with a Braveheart-esq "FUCK YOUUUUU!!!!" in lieu of the traditional FREEDOM!!! although either would have sufficed.

You are an asshole! You are the reason plows get into accidents. You are not suppose to pass plows period! 4x4 or not! I'm on the plows side, wait it out.

You did this so you wouldn't be 10 minutes late????? On a day like today????

No, the plow drivers are the reason plows get into accidents. They're not in a honda s2000 on dry pavement they're in a fucking plow. They need to drive slowly and allow the little vehicles (which is everybody considering the size of these trucks) to move around their slow asses. They weren't close together in formation or anything like that. There was about 500 - 700 feet between them which is more than enough to let someone by. Speeding up to prevent someone from going around the formation is dangerous to the plow driver, the plows (and traffic) behind them, and to the driver trying to drive within his vehicle's limits and his own ability. Given the conditions, my vehicle's limits and my ability...25 mph was a little on the slow side.

Yes, I did this so that I wouldn't be late at all. I don't work in an office and I don't work somewhere that affords you the opportunity to just be a little late and it be "ok" regardless of the conditions. I know that's difficult for you to wrap your noodle around, but those kind of jobs do exist.

Wow is right, a bunch of dumbshits are on here this morning.

What makes you think that the plows have the right to puposely, not because they have to but because they want to, block up roads. They do this shit to be ASSHOLES. And me being the ASSHOLE I am am breaking no laws by passing as lomg as I am passing on the correct side. You don't even have the marked lines argument because they are not visible in the snow.

So all if you can just shove it up your tight asses if you don't like it. So can those clock-milking county employees who want to "slow" down regular traffic. Speaking of ASSHOLES, I had a fire truck on my ass last night and guess who was infront of me acting like they couldn't hear or see the lights? That's right a GOSH DAMNED countynplow truck! This fucker just sat there for at least a minite and a half before he finally got the idea or whatever. I suspect this asshole had earphones on. -Speaking of ASSHOLES.

Guys like you are why I stay off the roads when possible even though I have a 4x4. Typical NoVA shitty driver attitude who doesn't get it that he can slide sideways when passing people. There is an inch of ice on the roads under the snow, quit being dumb.

An inch of ice you say? Thats exactly why some of us "good" 4x4 owners don't wish to be stuck behind a plowtruck doing 5 mph. A little snow on top helps a bunch thank you very much ASSHOLES.

Dude, You think you know the roads better than plows that have been out all night on the roads? You sir, are what Alaskans call a 4x4 ditch driver!

I won't have an encounter with anything on my way home because I'm actually a very calm driver. I don't drive recklessly or aggressively. Believe me when I say that I wouldn't be out driving if I didn't have to be, 4x4 or not. I did see two plows on my way to the toll road in ditches, so as far as being a ditch driver is concerned...maybe I should moonlight as a plow driver considering I've never (no, not even once) gotten stuck, slid off the road, spun out, or been involved in an accident related to snow and/or ice (in both 4x4 and 2WD vehicles).

So, you think the plows don't purposely use their power to be dicks?

What a bunch of whiny pussies in here. Fuck the plows. They think they are fucking heroes just because they push some fluffy white shit around. Leave the roads unplowed for all I care. That'll keep all the annoying people like everyone in here out of the shops and out of my way.

Well I'm not talking about a job. I'm talking about volunteering on a as needed basis for the local hospital. Mostly dialysis patients if you know what that is. I can't wait for the plow truck to come through here and make me dig my way oit of my driveway again.

@ Syphilis (big fan of your handle, btw) - I don't knock the plow drivers in general because they really are the good-guys here. Just because I encountered one prick out of the bunch doesn't mean they're all assholes.

@ WTL - You're absolutely right. Shitty drivers piss everybody off, but I'm sure that the plow drivers get extra annoyed when aggressive drivers harass them and drive dangerously around them. I'm not like that and wasn't acting in an unsafe or inappropriate manner.

@ Elle - Thanks for understanding.
