I heard Trump is closing all Federal agencies on Wednesday. I work at a Mail facility and was wondering if we will close. Postal service is a Federal agency but never closed during those shutdowns we had a few years ago.

If you are a real poster worker, I’m sure that you know how to find out if you’re open or not rather than asking us dumbasses on Fairfax Underground.

I am not calling anyone a dumb. It is all very vague right now. We are in our heaviest time of the year and a day off will backup our facility with parcels all over the place. The postal service is not funded by taxpayer money like all the other agencies like Commerce, Agriculture etc. I looked at all postal websites and nobody knows for sure. We can still mourn Bush but in my opinion we need to keep up with all these packages for the public

I get my medicine on Wednesday every two weeks and would be in trouble if the post office closed. Bush was ok but the average Joe is more important in reality. It is all a bunch of fake tears to try to look so righteous in front of politicians.

It is still vague but I read a memo that said defense and national security workers will work as well as other "essential" agencies to our country.

Exactly. That is what I said to "Memo" boy. Fucking go to work tomorrow and you will get official direction at that time.
