Train laying on the horn

There's a train that's been laying on the horn for like 3 or 4 minutes now. Does anybody know what is going on?

No, but I'm glad someone else thought of posting about it on here. Thought I was hearing things.
Seems to have stopped now.

Scanner traffic is reporting that they're having issues with the horn. Train stopped and is currently trying to repair on-site, so you'll probably hear more blasts going forward as they fix it.

4 NS engines going Westbound. Started on the full horn around Burke Lake Road and then came to a stop around Roberts Road with the horns stuck. Assume they stopped to try and un stick the air valve. Still having problems with it.

I'm near Laurel Ridge in KPW so too far away to hear anything but the blasting. It sounds like it's coming from near the VRE station to me but it's hard to tell with one point of reference. If I had to guess I'd say some wacko decided to stand on the tracks to stop a train or something for a prank. It's happened before. I can't think of anything else which would justify laying on the horn for that long.

It was a chat between an NS train and the dispatcher in Hagerstown on an AAR radio (160-16w MHz range)

They are forced by democrats to give warnings out to people sitting on the tracks.

Train horns being blown at hicktard hooligans wandering along the tracks is not really a partisan issue. It's a common sense safety warning.

Hopefully, they do more good than common sense safety warnings about guns.

They are required BY LAW to give warnings to people on or crossing the tracks. It has been that way for over 100 years. Only a tard would turn a common sense safety precaution into a debate over politics. That does not even fall under the category of clever trolling. It is just plain stupid,

7 - 8 minutes, at least, followed by intermittent blasts. Sound easily carried across the lake. Almost began to wonder if it was a warning that the dam was going to fail. It would be nice if Norfolk Southern issued an explanation or apology.
