Elizabeth Schultz more moral. Ryan McElveen (McEvil) allowing transgenders in the Fairfax County School bathroom of their choice, not so much so. I pray in the next election he gets voted out or he is ousted in some other way.

Encourage those believe likewise, though must pay taxes, not to support pro LGBT FCPS in optional ways, such as school fundraisers, adult education classes with fees, etc. Also return all FCPS postal mail such as adult education class quarterly catalogs marked 'LGBT promoter, sexually provocative, return to sender.' Anyone who has seen even a small part of a gay pride parade unless morally warped cannot disagree it is sexually provocative, and the US Postal Code allows you to reject sexually provocative mail, traditionally that was like Victoria Secret catalogs.

To liberals, those of differing views, voices of conservatives cannot be censored out, US Constitution 1st amendment.

I do not agree with many of Elizabeth Schultz's positions. I do feel she serves an important role in reminding the current SB that their orthodoxy does not represent the views of many, perhaps even most Fairfax residents. This is a role that more moderate school board members could do better, but you work with what you've got.

It's all well and good to be a gadfly and to shine lights into places that might otherwise have been overlooked, but 95% of Schultz commentary results in nothing more than eye-rolls. She is a plain detriment to the Board's ability to do business.

WRONG

The only way FCPS will make it is with more Schultz and less left wing nuts on the Board.

She knows her stuff and she’s there for all kids. She might have red political Tweets but she’s as accepting of all people and doing the right thing as any blue member on the Board. She holds the them to their own regulations. It’s not her fault that some board idiots circumvent the process.

It happens every meeting or work session. Instead of helping to move the agenda along, Schultz deflects into counter-productive bullshit. She’s just plain tiresome.

Yet when the rubber hits the road, there’s only one voice of reason on that Board. Countless bullshit has been stopped because she’s held up their own regulations in front of them. How this Board gets into more than policy is beyond me. They voted to change the name of a school against what the community input said and then they can’t find it. Plus what they have done isn’t up to standards that that community expected. Schultz was THE ONE asking to review what the community had to say. No? Then we are stuck with this bill. I’ll vote for Schultz and anyone else she suggests!

This thread was started by her anxious competition. Sorry. Us homeowners with no children aren’t paying taxes for public schools to teach more than academic subjects and some arts. This social justice agenda has no place in education.

You goobers are proof that it does. Shared values of tolerance and cooperation have always Ben part of public education.
