Mrs. Comstock is representing a district highly funded by government spending, especially on the payroll side of things. Trump is attacking that, calling for pay freezes, and position cuts.

On top of that, the population is increasingly becoming more liberal as suburban sprawl moves further West.

Hugging Trump wouldn't have mattered. Tough spot to be in.

Barbara should have been a bitch and prevented Fx Co Gov from filling her area with implants from democrat areas (ie herndon, sterling, ashburn). Everyone new from there I've talked to has gotten a recent democrat job in the area. (they are from out of state or OUT OF THE COUNTRY)

Barbara didn't take it seriously: she should have. they stuffed the ballot box.

She should have done 2x what they were doing to stop it.

Barbara is part of a Federal legislative branch, and has pretty ZERO ability to regulate the happenings of Fairfax County.
