Marshalls store on Rt. 50/Chantilly

Has anyone else noticed a change in the service at this store? Admittedly, I don't go that often -- just a few times a year -- but I never had a problem there with anything until the past few months... making a return is a nightmare!!!!! The company policy is that you can return an item within 30 days for a full refund if you have a receipt... easier said than done! Last couple of times it's been like pulling teeth. There I am with an item that's okay but just wasn't what I expected. I'm 28 days from purchase day, with my receipt, with all parts and the original packaging and STILL the person has to scour over everything like a CSI detective, go get a "second opinion" from another person, and have me wait there like an idiot for 10 minutes... not to mention other bad customer-service stuff. Have I just been "unlucky" or has this store become a dump?

Every Marshall's I've ever walked by, or in, is like a third world country. I was in there a few years back while my wife was returning a gift and there was some Middle Eastern type woman actually trying to barter down the price of a number of items.

Marshall's is for people that think Wal-Mart is too fancy. It's the government cheese of retail.

I buy all of my name brand shit at Ross in Greenbriar. Just don't use the bathroom unless you're looking to contract dengue fever, bubonic plague, and/or good 'ole fashion AIDS.
