(O'Keefe is doing this in multiple Democratic campaigns: Politico calls their effort against Florida's Andrew Gillum "more hype than bombshell". His efforts are being paid for by some dark money Republican donor of course, and published with lots of exclamation marks by Gateway Pundit. Yeah.)

That whole Planned Parenthood thing was mostly fluff and the video was misleading. There was something similar in California a number of years ago, but it turned out the companies were pretending to acquire the parts for legal purposes when in fact they weren't. Those companies paid the state to settle the case. I'm pro-life myself and will shed no tear if the feds de-fund PP, but, if you're going to accuse a person (and yes, the courts consider the corporations "persons", even though Texas hasn't executed one, yet) of something, you have to prove it. Not much different from expecting Ford to prove what she accused Kavanaugh of, right?

As for stopping women from leaving the country for an abortion, there isn't a lot you can do about it. You could make it illegal and set penalties for it, but it would be mostly unenforceable. If the authorities find out you left the country and got an abortion, you could be prosecuted, but that's going to happen in only a small number of cases. Probably not even 1%. If the people don't come back, there's even less. The authorities could ask for an extradition, but, if the host country won't comply, there's not a lot anybody can do about it.

Beto's campaign manager refuses to comment on the story. No denial. Just a "no comment". That's shocking.

Easy answer: separate the the other health services portion into a totally different organization, with different funding, different leadership, different staffing and different facilities. That way, this new organization and can focus on real health issues and PP can't hide their funding streams (Medicaid payments from the tax payers - which is illegal). The abortion side can sink or swim on their own, with no federal funding.

The biggest reason (about 80%) is that the mother doesn't want the baby to affect her life.

Easy answer, that is exactly what they do now, and have done for decades. There hasn't been Federal funding for abortions since Jesse Helms.


In 2006, George W. Bush sicked the IRS on Planned Parenthood to do full audits of their activities (the audit had nothing to do with the midterms, said Karl Rove). The IRS found no Federal money had been diverted for abortions, and Georgie was upset at how "clean" Planned Parenthood's books actually were.

Me, I had a productive couple of hours mid afternoon in the casino here in Vegas where I'm currently on vacation. I won a little at blackjack, a little more on the roulette wheel and a nice, tidy little sum at baccarat. I swear, those idiots in Vegas don't know shit about baccarat, I wonder why the houses bank it, but they do. what I won at baccarat will more than cover the cost of this little excursion, Of course, my accommodations are comped, and I don't know why they do that, either. I never lose more than a couple of hundred and usually I walk away up a couple of hundred. Nothing big and no big deal, mind you, but, a few days' entertainment and you walk away with just a little more than what you had when you got there, how can you complain, right?

Afterward, a ""working girl", who must have been working the floor approached me and offered several services. I decided WTF, why not and opted for the quick fellatio.
