Ask yourself, do you agree with 100% of what Trump says? Can you name a number of things he has dome wrong? As far as police having machine guns and assault semi autos police need them, its a officer safety issue all the way. Thugs have firepower, police need the same, citizens can currently own the same firearms under federal law with reasonable regulations placed upon their ownership and the balance of powers of the Constitution is not violated

Allow Only the military to have these same firearms, fine the balance of powers of the Constitution is intact as there are many Constitutional safeguards with regard to the use of US military forces against the civil populace

Allow The military and the civilian police to only have the same firearms denied the citizen, you create a police state where the balance of powers of the Constitution is seriously violated
