I don't watch that shit anymore either. But I heard a week or two ago ESPN decided not to show any video of the anthems this season.

I believe a lot of star players threatened to strike earlier this year when the league was going to enforce the "no kneeling" policy, so they decided to allow it to continue.

My guess is networks are all cynically going to not show the anthem on tv in hopes that this will throw sand on the fire and this will quietly go away.

Problem is, damage is already done. I predict we will see 4-8% average tv viewership and attendance decline from this season over last.

The league really are run by greedy idiots who really thought they were "to big to fail" and positive growth would continue forever.
