Americans elected a president who — this is a safe surmise — knew that he had more to fear from making his tax returns public than from keeping them secret. The most innocent inference is that for decades he has depended on an American weakness, susceptibility to the tacky charisma of wealth, which would evaporate when his tax returns revealed that he has always lied about his wealth, too. A more ominous explanation might be that his redundantly demonstrated incompetence as a businessman tumbled him into unsavory financial dependencies on Russians. A still more sinister explanation might be that the Russians have something else, something worse, to keep him compliant.

ahh yes the 'globalist' trope. George Will part of the Illuminati. Meanwhile Trump is destabilizing every close ally we have and emboldening military adventurism of our enemies. Your perspective seems conflicted

btw using pictures of maimed servicemen only accentuates the image of young Trump lying about bone spurs then later mocking Gold Star families, decorated patriots like Mueller and McCain.

It's funny watching the beltway pundits spew hate non stop.The status quo has been shattered by an outsider and they are beside themselves.Our fearless Prez just keeps on winning and so do real Americans who could care less what sad,pathetic people like George Will say.

1) Supported Open Borders ("we need cheap labor"!)

2) Supported "Free Markets" ( Lookit Walmart! Everything is cheap! The manufacturing sector will "adjust"!)
