Sounds like this restaurant needs a few rocks through it's windows, or perhaps some maltov cocktails. Time for conservatives to fight back. This place should not be allowed to open again.

Yea great point - we need to do to liberals what Germans did to Jews

Kristallnacht, literally, "Night of Crystal," is often referred to as the "Night of Broken Glass." The name refers to the wave of violent anti-Jewish pogroms which took place on November 9 and 10, 1938. This wave of violence took place throughout Germany, annexed Austria, and in areas of the Sudetenland in Czechoslovakia recently occupied by German troops.

It would be so patriotic!!

Just think, Starbucks should try this. Next time they have loiterers, they can just ask who their employer is. If the loiterer is unemployed or on government assistance, they can legally kick them out.

But wouldn't be surprised if it's a typical libscum foodie snob place opened by some transplant with contempt for her neighbors.

You can probably get a $13 chicken breast that is unspectacular. Maybe a craft beer that tastes pissy but is local and neatly packaged.

Owner probably employs the only illegals in town.

If you're in the hospitality business, don't be a cunt to people.

I suspect the suppliers have the same sore of political leanings, so I doubt this will hurt the business at Red Hen.

The yelp and google reviews are interesting. So many patrons from SF.

It's a farm-to-table restaurant and most of their suppliers are local farmers. Farmers voted overwhelmingly for Trump. It ain't McLean and Lexington has avery
rich Confederate history. It's not Snowflake country.

Are you referring to the "Rancho Calixto" farm, whose claim to fame is that it's a family of "Mexican immigrants" supplying high-end restaurants?

Or do you mean the Potter Farm, which supplies the high-end beef? They have their own restaurant down the street btw.

(I just noticed that the ranch, with the cows, is called a "farm", but the vegetable growers are called a "rancho". Everything is topsy-turvey in this scary new world!)

And yeah all the positive reviews are from people way far away in other states, all libs. LOL! And Yelp already said they're going to take down all the negative reviews. Yelp is mostly fake anyway, in case you didn't realize it.

Spend your dollars where the behaviors and beliefs of the proprietor match yours. The Jews have been doing this since the beginning of time and they basically rule the world. The right does not get violent nor protest much but we can quietly boycott.

Boycott Hollywood
Boycott the places of business that virtue signal
Boycott businesses that are run by radical lefty CEO's
Online purchases? Ebay not Amazon
Do you have subscriptions for newspapers that are radical & biased? Cancel then.

Do some research before you spend your money. Spend where you can obtain what you need and support only those that share your beliefs.

Let the crazed lefties have there fun. If they eventually are successful in tearing the USA apart a fair majority of them do not have wealth to fly around the globe and will live in the shit hole they created. That's Karma.

Neither were they shouted out of restaurants by their political opponents.
Obama deported more people than any other US president, separating millions of families.

Yelp is in melt down mode and every bit as cowardly as this crappy restaurants owner. I'm glad Sanders left. She would have been given food poisoning on purpose, or worse.Hopefully the Health Department comes down hard on this establishment. BTW, if the gay community can sue a baker for refusing to make a cake for a gay wedding, maybe some wealthy GOP donor can sue the hell out of this restaurant. Yes, I want to drive to Lexington and throw a brick through a window of this restaurant.

Legal immigrants are well behaved, often better than native-born citizens.

Illegal immigrants commit about 3 times the number of murders and about twice the number of larcenies as legal immigrants.

No, it shows the persons character is either dishonest, deceitful or irresponsible.

At best irresponsible.

We have too many irresponsible people in America already.

Conservatives, or non democrats don't act like this. Not letting people into restaurants, harassing people who are trying to have dinner, this is the makeup of the Democrat Party. Deniro, Wanda Sykes, John Legend, Fonda, etc....they cant help themselves.
Just keep letting them do these crazy things and continue their derangement.
The normal American people will certainly remember these childish, petulant acts when the elections roll around.
Democrats are showing their true colors and hurting themselves.

Lexington, Va?
That's where the great Thomas Jonathan "Stonewall" Jackson taught at the military academy, which is still there- VMI....at least for now.
And where he is buried.
Great place to visit see some great Virginia history....before its all wiped away by the Stalinist, uh Democrat Party.

Yeah, the area was once a bastion of ignorance and hatred. Not really something to be proud of. But like Virginia itself, Lexington went decidedly for Clinton in 2016, so there is hope there for brighter days.

I can't wait until November when hunters flood towns like Lexington for the
deer season. Hotels and motels along I-81 are full and restaurants do a booming
business and they won't go to the Red Hen. You won't see Snowflakes hanging around either.

I think it’s funny how stupid people are posting bad reviews for The Red Hen in DC. To you stupid people, you got the fucking wrong restaurant. Like Sarah Sanders said in her tweet, (you should read her tweet)it’s the Red Hen in LEXINGTON VA. The two places have nothing to do with each other. Different owners, completely different restaurants. Over 3 hours apart.
Like we’re going to believe the bad reviews post by stupid people who only have that one review on their yelp acct, who are from CA, CO, CT, MI, TX, GA and so on. Like any of you stupid fuckers have even been to the DC restaurant.
Plus after it’s been on the news and on the web stating they are different restaurants, these Tards are still posting FAKE reviews.
Tards are so stupid.

You obviously don't know any hunters. Do you have any idea how much money is spent by hunters in Virginia? I hunt near Staunton and see hunters in $100,000.00+ RV's and carrying rifles that cost thousands and they don't go to Mickey=D's. You need to get out more often.

How dismally stupid it is for illegals to pay coyotes 10 grand to enter illegally, when they can pay a legal immigration lawyer half of that and enter legally

How completely stupid liberals are to support illegals in any manner so they can get their grass mowed for a 10 dollar discount

I don’t have (and you don’t either) any magical means for detecting whether people are or are not illegal. I can however tell whether service workers that I encounter in many industries are doing a good job at a reasonable price or not.

You’re talking about wannabe hunters. Shitheads with more money than they know what to do with. I’ve been hunting since I was 12. Driving my $1000 Chevy pickup and using my $150 hand me down rifle from my dad. I eat what I kill and I have more kills than any of those pussy wannabes.

Unless a place of business has a near monopoly in an area, like the post office, or unless it creates a public safety issue, businesses and business owners should be able to welcome or not welcome visitors as they so choose without government interference. There are plenty of restaurants around, unless you are in middle of rural nowhere. There are places to eat which are gay bars, or which the primary language is other than say English, or a certain culture exists within the establishment, and not expecting them to change their ways just to one's liking, so knowing that beforehand (its easy with 95%+ of places with the Internet), simply go elsewhere to have a meal to avoid conflict.

No I haven't but I understand it's really nice and hunter friendly. I live in Fairfax but stay with a Churchville friend at the opening of the deer season.

Oh, I’ve met those useless wannabes before. In fact a couple of years ago, this wannabe friend of a friend was included in our group. He had all the latest shit. You could tell the guy at Cabelas saw him coming. It was his shot and there was a buck down in this clearing about 170 yards away. He got ready to take the shot and I knew he would screw it up. I acted like I was just sighting the deer getting ready for the miss. Well I was right, the wannabe missed but I was right there waiting and dropped that buck before he took three steps.
Thanks wannabe.

More than a decade ago visited Lexington, VA where interstates I-81 and I-64 converge, plenty of restaurants to choose from. Both Google Maps and Yelp lists more than 50 today. While in the car on I-81, all cell phone carriers work on the interstate, read the user reviews before going to whichever one you choose.

The discrimination goes both ways, including providing poor service to you, because the people working there do not like your background, sometimes more subtle or sometimes more blatant. Can think of a few fast or quick-eat food restaurants around here will never, ever go to again on such basis. Hey, if the place is unwelcoming, post on social media, and let people make their own dining decisions.

Also think back to the movie Ferris Bueller's Day Off. There was a scene in the movie where the person working the front desk at the fine French restaurant really did not want to let Ferris and his friends in (they skipped school). Sometimes it is for your own good, to avoid making you uncomfortable with the other patrons eating there. As the scene goes in the movie, they manage to make their way in faking up their status, only to see across the dining room Ferris's dad and his business associates at a table nearby.

Sorry about your limited experience. Keep trying.

"Like a real hunter is going to go to an upscale restaurant for dinner" was laughable at best. I don't own an RV but I can afford to eat anywhere I want.

Because a large part of Lexington's economy is about hunters once the tourist
season is over. Hunters voted against Hillary and now the snowflakes are falling.

I'd love to have video of the owner stumbling over her words. I'm sure she awkwardly stuttered and asked Sarah Sanders to leave.

Absofuckinglutely!
(I removed your restrictions like monopoly or whatever; it should be
a more absolute right than even you propose.)
They can refuse to serve more or less anyone (barring illegal discrimination).
Political beliefs are fair game, in particular.

Let's see how long Red Hen and the other businesses in Lexington do,
when the only patrons are the personal friends and associates of
the business owners. Because there isn't going to be any more
business from the other locals, and there isn't going to be any
more business from the Blue Ridge and Civil War tourists, and there
isn't going to be any more business from the families visiting their
kids at the local schools (VMI and Washington & Lee).

The whole town has been outed as a hate-filled uber-left bastion.
Nationally famous now for hating over 50% of Americans, especially
the ones that are likely to be visiting the area, it's going to be
a purposefully-drive-THROUGH town. No stopping for gas and stuff,
and absolutely don't eat at any of the "fine" restaurants there.
Those places are all part of the lib cabal (I am not making this up!)

They'll prop it up with their own money as long as they can,
but there's going to be a lot of sudden unemployment coming to town.
Hell, they already had to temporarily close down The Red Hen.
I wonder if they are paying the staff during the time that their
phone is disconnected and they can't make reservations?

And people are smarter than to go to the other "good" restaurants there.
We know they're all the same stripe.

Bye bye, Lexington!

I was going to stop there on my Waynesboro trip next month.
Like that's going to happen LOL. I'll pack a lunch or whatever.

Nobody (other than you) has proposed that.

Sarah Sanders is a widely reviled lying pig who has done great and regular disservice to America. As a public accommodation, The Red Hen cannot refuse service except on certain legally established grounds, one of which is that if admitted, a customer would threaten and make staff uncomfortable. It was not a coincidence that the Red Hen owner asked staff what she should do before asking Sanders to leave.
