Use the search feature. This was discussed a few weeks back.

To sum up. Tony's in Fairfax (which is close enough to Chantilly) or Ciro's in Chantilly (in the strip mall complex by the Rt. 28 and Rt. 29 overpass)

If you like good ny style pizza try out Flippin Pizza in the Shoppers Shopping Center at 50 and Centreville Road. Good lunch deal - 2 slices and drink $5!

Paisanos' is also a good bet... good wings.

Tony's or Ciro's is closet you get to NY Style.

Flippin' folds like NY, has the grease but is tastless..unless you flood it with toppings

The trailer trash in Chantilly really seem to like Paisano's Pizza on Airline Parkway by the LA Boxing and the Wendy's.

Paisano's is like...Buffalo NY pizza, not NYC. Flippin' Pizza is bland, correct, needs toppings and a salt shaker.

Wegman's is not bad, but again, switched their sauce and it is heartburn city.....

Better off with Diorgiorno at this point.

The most authentic pizza ever, go to Villa Bella in the Burke WalMart plaza. If you don't agree, don't hate.

Buy the wheat pizza dough at Wegman's. It's a large amount and better than the frozen one at Safeway (although Safeway is a bargain and will do if you want white flour dough). Find a sauce you like and keep it on hand or make one. Buy a wonderful mozzarella---already shredded or not (not is often best). It takes very little time to make a pizza and it tastes WAY BETTER when it's fresh out of your oven (plus a whole lot cheaper). If you want to be even more "authentic", make you own dough.

People tell me it's really hard to find good pizza around here, they are right.
I've lived in New York and Chicago and youreally get spoiled witht the kinds of pies they make there.

Absolutely, hands down, the best pizza I've found anywhere in this area is at Chantilly Crossing Shopping Center, a little place called CiCi's.

I've made pizza dough using the recipe on Breadtopia. It's pretty good.

And get a "pizza stone", preheat your oven to its max temp with the stone in place (*), throw cornmeal on it just before putting your pizza on it.

==============

(*) A long time ago in a different lifetime, I bought a ridiculously expensive gas Thermador stove/oven for thousands of dollars - WHOLESALE! - and that turkey has its oven thermostat apparently RIGHT at the top of the oven so the temperature is NEVER correct based off control setting. Lesson learned - in addition to the pizza stone, get an oven thermometer and place it on the rack you intend to place your pizza.

The story behind the stove purchase is a sad tale of too much money in pocket and not enough cooking-utensil knowledge - maybe for another post at a different time.

+1 The pizza and the other food is delicious. Plus they are friendly and hospitable there and seem genuinely grateful for your business.

Unlike Villas Pizza in Burke. Those bastards dumped a plate of lasagna down my back, stained my shirt and then offered me a $5 coupon for my next visit. Fuck them.

There is no truly good pizza in Virginia.
You have to go to Philly, south Jersey or NYC.

...Or Chicago. If you ever find your way around the mid-west... lookup Aurelio's. Best pizza I've ever had.
