Man Fatally Stabbed By His Niece In Alexandria

30-year-old Courtney A. Southern was fatally stabbed by his niece, 22-year-old Chardnay N. Southern, in the family home at 8015 Steadman Street in Alexandria late on Monday morning.

Southern and his niece had been arguing when she stabbed him at about 11:00 a.m. in the home in the Mount Vernon Valley neighborhood in Hybla Valley. He was taken to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
