I saw the very first Rolling Thunder, and stood on the Memorial Bridge to watch them all file by in reference. The wolftrap motel is booked solid as usual for the entire weekend. We will have men on call around the clock. Every year we end up with half a dozen emergency toilet replacements that have to be done and dozens of toilets that need plunging thanks to the gigantic asses of the thundertards. Numerous chairs end up getting crushed as well.

The fraud squad -- disability line is where you find most - trying to get a 5% increase on back pain, or 10% increase on wrist pain, for some made-up service-connected ass-ache someone got lifting a box of oranges in the kitchen when he or she was 20 years old.
Most of these vets bought their motorcycles with disability checks. And don't say they're entitled to it -- it's MOSTLY B.S. One thing good about the thundertards staying with us is that the housekeeping staff reports that very few of the showers are used when they stay. These guys are not big on bathing. Sometimes we have a difficult time getting the smell out of our rooms however.
