Statehood or independence. The aftermath of neglect and non-aid in the wake of Hurricane Maria has ruffled many feathers and burned many bridges. America is being tested and is so far failing very badly. .

The hurricane was last September, and the island is STILL suffering regular major blackouts. Trump went and threw rolls of paper towels to the crowds. Seriously! A "let them eat cake" moment if ever there was one! The lack of caring and scope of US failure in Puerto Rico are far worse than what they were in New Orleans after Katrina.

People are more concerned about Stormy Daniels than they are about the devastation caused by an actual storm. America has failed if this is the best we can do.
