Out of curiosity, why isn't there any video footage of school shootings?

I just noticed there's never any footage. Not even of the shooter inside of the school. I don't expect them to relase the actual shooting, but at least show the shooter inside of the school. But ever since Columbine there hasn't been anything. What gives?

Are you an idiot? There has been plenty of footage from Columbine and several others released. Different states have different confidentiality laws and in some cases I'm sure parents sued to not have them released or agreed to some kind of liability concessions in favor of the school systems' local government in exchange for not releasing them.
