Persons around the DMV are preparing for a winter snow event. News outlets suggest you have an emergency kit in your car, along with your home emergency kits.

I am prepared. I am prepared to send my kids walking off to school. I have Long Johns, sweaters, heavy coats, hats, scarves and gloves all ready for them when they wake up at the regular time to head off to school.

I'm prepared for the inch of snow. I've cleaned out Giant of the all the toilet paper. Don't even think about it.

I've abandoned my car on Fairfax County Parkway and my driveway is completely covered in salt.
