Fairfax County General :
Fairfax Underground
Welcome to Fairfax Underground, a project site designed to improve communication among residents of Fairfax County, VA. Feel free to post anything Northern Virginia residents would find interesting.
Does anyone know what's going on with the Annandale Burger King? I drove by it this evening and there's a fence around the entire parking lot. Still looks like everything is inside though. Not sure if they're closing or remodeling.

Me gwan Gwhopper no meye-o en emall coke pour fayvurr.
We drive through on occasion, every couple months if we're in a rush and passing by. We try to avoid it because they don't clean their fryer or soda lines so everything tastes the same, bad.

You are 100% correct. My last time going to that BK, was over a year ago. They really seemed to be pushing the "add-ons" for the burger like the jalapeno slices, etc. It seemed like forever in that line.

You have never wrapped your lips around The Whaler.
It would be no great loss to me if the Annandale Burger King never reopened. Although I can't recall having gotten sick after eating a meal there, unlike the Burger King on Backlick Road in Springfield near the Beltway overpass.

The chicken sandwiches there didn't serve me well. I did not get sick however.
I have never had any problems with their beef and whoppers and they are great tasting burgers!
I think the place is under better management these days.

All fast food back then was better. What little quality there was at fast food joints is long gone. I used to work in Arlington off Wilson Blvd and there was a Red Barn nearby. Best burgers I ever had to this day!
Went by there today and the fence is down. New BK sign on front of the building. They completed the new roof last week. Looks like they were finishing things up. Maybe reopening soon?
The gooks from the surrounding area were employees there.
They would store their stinky kimchee and fermented cod lunches in the food fridges-tainting the meat and fries!

No way in hell a health inspector would allow personal food to be stored next to store product.

There’s 2 inspectors for the county. I’m sure their gook restaurant owner friends warn them ahead of time.

The manager and staff from the Annandale location are working there temporarily during the remodel. I am glad she did not get laid off. She is very friendly to the customers and recognizes most. I prefer Burger King breakfast combos over McDonalds because of the tater tots.

Here’s from a wash post article!
2 was hyperbole. 10 is actual number.
Feel safe now u faggot liberal??
“Each county health inspector oversees 370 restaurants and other facilities, which is more than twice the number of establishments handled by their counterparts in neighboring jurisdictions. The Fairfax inspectors are so overloaded that some of the county's 2,900 restaurants have gone more than a year without a routine visit, said county officials, who would prefer to inspect quarterly.”
AND THAT INCLUDES FAIRFAX CITY AND FALLS CHURCH TOOOOO!
