Media needs to get off the fact that Paddock bringing in suitcases of weapons should have caught anyone's attention

I was at a bachelor party at MB. I was the first to arrive and in charge of stocking the suite with booze. I didn't want to be seen carrying cases of beer so from the parking garage, through the casino and right passed checkin, a buddy and I made at least 6 trips with large suitcases full of beer. That was over 2 hours...I never expected them to notice a thing, nor would I think they should have been able to notice the same thing spread out over 3 days.

Off-topic asshole...I bet you thought you were in the general forum. Maybe you shouldn't be hitting the booze so hard tonight.

You miss my point dick... it's not all that weird of behavior for Las Vegas so even if they notice it, no one will/should care...and less chance they assume it's because of some evil plot.

Jesus Christ, I'd assume that this is one thing you trumpatards and I could agree with...no reasonable red-flags so get the media off it.

The Killer stayed up to 4 months in Casino hotels..he was a professional gambler..he was at Vegas all the time..He got comps ..his brother stayed free with his family for a week at a time..He got a free car..many other comps..

He was known.. He was a heavy gambler who lost..and won..He spent large dollars gambling and even with discounts plenty for rooms.. It was No Big Deal for him to want 2 rooms..It was no big deal for him to bring in 12 some suitcase or how many..over 4 days..No one ever thought he was up to this ..as his game..was gambling..As far as they knew he might have stayed 3 months..

So..Why did he do it.. Was It a Great Gamble..with Terrorists to pull it off..??

It makes no sense..what he did..WHY..? He had plenty of money and was doing what he loved to do..

So They Say..

He was Not stupid pals..You go try to make it as a Professional Gambler..It takes brains and discipline to learn every trick in the book..He planned and planned what he did..

They will take whats left of his brain out..slice it like thin meatloaf..Maybe he had a tumor..Like Charles Whitman did..1966..Texas Tower..who also people ask..Why..!

DAJAX Ya Climbing The Tower..Jokes..Jesus ..Now "Black Humor" will be coming out with plenty of Vegas jokes..Its a American thing.. to deal with horror..

And has Nothing to Do with race..

Yeah sure, like Ravi has ever been invited to a party. The only bachelor party he was at is when his one friend in Pakistan stole a new goat to marry.

Totally agree.

I stated at MB with my family many years ago on the same side that Paddock stayed with the view over the concert venue, the "strip" and airport.

We parked in the rear parking deck and had to schlep all our crap from from the parking lot via elevator, past all the restaurants and thorough the casino to the lobby elevators that were really out of sight of the lobby as I recall.

While these facilities have a lot of cameras, you have to realize that the cameras are not always monitored in real time. The focus is more on the $$$$ in the casino than the guest traffic from the parking deck. Given the amount of time between trips due and the volume of people milling about because of the the sheer size of these facilities, security would really need to be focused on remembering what someone looks like for 20-60 minutes at a time.

Paddock was 64, he would not have dropped a bag then immediately returned to his car. He would have chilled out and rested between trips.

Think of all the Porn movies shot in motel rooms, lights, camera and sound equipment, props, porn actors/actresses, support people. Then the noisy female putting on the drama. This rarely gets a 2nd look.

What I want to know is did Paddock give Housekeeping some cash to give him "privacy"? I would guess he found someone and gave them $100 or so to give him privacy during his stay. This probably made the rounds of the Housekeepers and they will not be fessing up they took cash to stay away from Paddocks room. Even leaving a Do Not Disturb sign on the room should raise some suspicion.

My understand in Paddock did order Room Service probably a few times. I had people ask me why Room Service did not detect anything unusual. Well Paddock had a 2 room suite so he had all of his weapons and so forth in the rooms behind closed doors so that Room Service did not see anything out of the ordinary. This is also where Paddock got the Room Service cart he had cameras mounted on. Assume they must have been wireless cameras so that in case the cart was picked up by staff they would not have seen wires and may not have figured out who had installed the cameras for a while.

Paddock had a sick plan for some reason, was a reasonably smart guy to get everything set up as he expected. I am not convinced this guy did not follow in his fathers footsteps as a career criminal that appeared to live a "normal" life. This is why he may have had so many weapons and maybe he was close to being caught so he thought he would go out in a blaze of glory and then if he was able to get out of Vegas, to move to the Philippines or somewhere else and take on an new identity.

Who knows what his sick motive was and why, only he knew why he wanted to kill and injury so many innocent people. This guy was not playing with a full deck or living in reality.

Such a sad state of affairs for all the injured and survivors of the deceased.

You can see a black wire on top of the food service cart.

Hey, OP...if you are ever in that situation again, feel free to just load a luggage cart with your cases of beer and bring it up in one trip. If you are staying at a full service hotel and had your car valet parked, just call down to the bell stand and tell them to please unload your car and bring everything up to your room. A tip is not necessary and would be appreciated.

It is not against hotels' policies to possess large amounts of beer unless you are a minor. Now, if your bachelor party is too loud or carries out into the public areas of the hotel and you are either disturbing other guests or staff or damaging property, then there is a problem and the police will be called.

You're allowed to bring whatever the hell you want into your hotel room, its nobody's business. 30 Guns? If anyone even asked, which they won't, "I'm here for a gun show, and I can't leave them in my car or they will get stolen."

Carrying suitcases into a hotel is VERY unusual behavior and the police should have been called immediately.
