Other examples of why I think this forum sucks include Meade posts, the uninformed political posts, anything by Votestrike, and just general trend for everything to be a troll post. Since most of the people doing this, I am certain are young, you might not have a frame of reference to have seen this forum change so much.

I stay because sometimes, there is a glimmer of a good post to be replied to and read which has some decent info relevant to the county.

I would say if there are 100 posts on the front page of this section (Ffx Co General), 80 of them are going to be spam and racist arguments that belong in off topic, 10 will be of memorials to people that died, the other 10 are actually decent threads of good discussion (like the heat pump vs natural gas debate going on now).

If Cary allowed an outside person to mod since he obviously doesn't have the time nor cares (hey its his board his rules and i respect that!), we could cut down on this but since all of us use this board for FREE and get to stay mostly ANON it's a tradeoff.

I am just pissed at there are good threads and people try to derail it with "niggers this and that" talk. You could be discussing your favorite park or favorite chinese food restaurant in Fairfax for example- here comes someone saying niggers ruin it.

The NFL is fucked now. Those TV contracts will be worth peanuts when they get redone. Some of the entities are considering suing the NFL for breach of contract for not reigning in the shit.
