Fairfax Police Wake UP
Posted by: citizen ()

Why hasn't Fairfax County Police ticketed and had the abandoned the minivan that has been parked 10 feet from the travel lane on the Fairfax County Parkway near Sydenstricker and Gambral for eight days. Think about it for a minute....eight days sitting 10 feet from 70MPH speeding cars, Are our police really that lazy?

That would be too obvious. I mean seriously. Cops are only there to ticket parked vans after all.

Thats all FFXCO cops do. Its not like they have a tough job. Outside a Westfields loony, pretty easy gig for inferiority complexed-up douches. A real cop crosses the river.

Riiight. With the exception of the MS-13, drug runners using I-95, home invasions, muggings, burglaries, armed robberies, DUIs, and domestic violence, yeah, Fairfax police have a slacker job.

Sounds like somebody is bitter over not meeting the requirements to become a police officer. I guarantee a Fairfax police officer does more work in a day than you do in a month.

Blessed are the murderous.

I guarantee I know more FFXCO cops than you. And more cops from other jurisdictions. Honey, you have no idea what you're talking about. So shut up.

I say again:

Sounds like somebody is bitter over not meeting the requirements to become a police officer. I guarantee a Fairfax police officer does more work in a day than you do in a month. Just because you know lots of police officers doesn't make you an officer yourself.

When you have to deal with rapists, murderers, wife beaters, and drug dealers on a constant basis for 40-50k a year, you have room to talk. Fairfax may be an affluent jurisdiction, but it still has plenty of crime.

Blessed are the murderous.

eesh. please, stop.

I know exactly the workload of a FCPD police officer. Since you do not, an easy, though marginally inaccurate, way to see how much work a cop's doing is look at his dockets. This is generally how officers are graded and appraised, though it varies from jurisdiction. Look at a typical FCPD vs an MPD docket. Once you see the difference, you don't need to come back here an apologize for being an idiot who spouts off too much.

Are you a police officer yourself.......no? Then shut the fuck up.

Again, sounds like you've had either a bitter experience with FFX or you were turned down for employment from them.

Blessed are the murderous.

Since it sounds like you're some 23 year old who works for Best Buy, I was a cop for much longer than you've been an adult. But not anymore. I've worked (and still work) with FCPD for more years than you've lived away from your mommy. My experiences with FCPD range from flabbergasted to disgusted, but hardly bitter. What are your experiences, with any law enforcement?

But getting back to the OP, yes, that van should have been towed by now.

Yeah, because disagreeing with you means I work a menial job.

So you didn't retire? Dishonorable discharge? Pension taken away? LOL

Bullshit.

If you really work with FCPD, you don't need to be spouting off that shit about Fairfax police. Hopefully someone in a supervisory position finds out you have written all this garbage.

>My experiences with FCPD range from flabbergasted to disgusted

Sounds like someone that's been arrested a few times.

>What are your experiences, with any law enforcement?

I would say, but it's just going to bring out the anonymous haters.

Like I said, if you really work for Fairfax police, I hope one of your supervisors finds out what you have written and has you fired. You don't need to be working in law enforcement.

Blessed are the murderous.

Thanks EQB you lying SOB, now for the facts - the law requires the car be tagged for ten days prior to removal by LE.

Emeritus Q. Beaker=Sheriff Deputy. I promise you hes a sheriff deputy. They are generally known as being dumber than dirt and have a jealous relationship as toward the County PD. Plus it would explain why hes referring to a FXCO PD officers court docket.

Interesting point, especially since many police officers have a condescending attitude towards sheriff's deputies. Explains his bitterness.

I've never noticed that. Why are they condescending? The deputies are the ones who have to put up with the most crap. At least the PD can cruise around and dump off their quarry to the ADC, whereas the Deputies then have to put up with the aforementioned for their entire shift.

Yes, they are when they're being pushed to write traffic tickets and set DWI checkpoints to fill the coffers thus ensuring their commander gets promoted to the next level. Call the non-emergency number

if its an immediate threat to a safe-right-of-way it could be yanked immediately. at least it would a 4-day tow.

Whenever I see abandoned cars and it ticks me off I complain to Ffx U, it's a much more efficient way of removing the car than calling the police directly.

Nine Days now I really think the FCPD is saying FU to all of the taxpayers, Let's see 9 days x 24 x 3 (3xper hour a cop passes it) = 648 times a police officer has passed a wrecked and abandoned car 10 feet from a 50 mph travel lane that often has cars exceeding the posted speed by 20mph. When some innocent person is hurt or killed by this potential accident a jury will award them well when they discover how long it has been abandoned. It is very hard to see at night and a lot of speeders hit their brakes as they pass it, kind of comes out of nowhere.

Affluent Fairfax County ? Not really getting much for the money! Take a good look at the Fairfax County Trashway. My out of town friends say 7100 reminds them of NJTPK.

Funny....I was thinking the same thing about the red minivan. It's pretty darn close to the street too! Everyday i see it I'm amazed that it's still there. Road kill is even picked up within a day or two!

It does seem reminiscent of the NJTP. Average speed of 25 mph, too few interchanges, way more cars than the road can handle. Yep, I'd say they are prettyi similar.

So let me ask a question, since when is the police a tow service? Also, if every cop were to tow cars that are on the side of the road every time you ran out of gas and then impound it would you be happy? Even if you just walked around the corner, had a friend come get you..please whatever you do tow that car don't let it sit there for an hour or so, also why the heck are people driving so fast anyway..? How much room does somebody need to drive,if a car is off the road 10ft, how the hell are you going to hit it? Maybe the drivers should a) slow down, b) pay attention to the road and quit texting or talking on the phone.
