Prior game Kirk just needs to score and Skins are in playoffs. Mr. Clutch throws an INT instead.
Today he plays like crap, but still has a chance for a game winning drive. What does he do? Turnover for TD.
Management was so stupid not to trade the Jesus Freak. Instead he is one of the highest paid QBs in the NFL.

Redskins sucked for years, and one reason was the lack of a decent quarterback. After the whole RG3 fiasco Cousins, who is a middle of the pack NFL QB, offered them a chance to get beyond at least that one problem. If the Redskins cut or traded Cousins it would set them back at least 2-3 years. Fan base would not tolerate this on top of all the management blunders the past decade. Management knows this, and knows that Cousins knows this. There are teams out there with big QB problems that would pay Cousins, so he is in the drivers seat.
