OK. Driving through the area,
Lake Side it's a church group. Other entrance off of Heming Ave.
Several people BBQ ing.
Is this the side it's on?
Saw a bunch of 20 somethings and even an older couple looked to be in their 60s going back to their car to grab a bag of food and returned.
Strange mix. No indication that anyone may be there because of FFX underground.
No red balloons.
Red Black and white balloons lake side was the church group.

I just used the facilities and left.

I went over there walking my dog around 2 pm. No Morenos, no Megan, no eesh, no Chuck Hoffman, no Dajax, or anyone recognizable, and no groups that looked like it might be people from here. In fact it was just the church group and what was obviously a family, and 5 or 6 hispanic people. Maybe the rain kept people at home.

We were all by the dam, I caught some snakehead and DAJAX was grilling them up under the train tracks. The local contractor showed up with a large black trash bag, he seemed kinda nervous.

Are you by any chance blind, deaf and dumb? There were at least 50 of us at the BBQ! It was great. How could you miss us, the balloons, and the noise? Even the park staff came and joined us (and asked us to tone it down a little). Thanks again, OP, for organizing it!

I came by around 2:20 lakeside. Saw a couple of people in the parking lot .. like literally 3 people with a car door open.

I drove up and saw the red, black and white ballons ... It was an Asian church group .. that's it.

ChuckHoffman was nice enough to rent us out a couple pedal boats. If you didn't see us we were probably just pedaling our way around the lake. My boat had myself, Chuck, Dajax and Pontiac1 in it. Well, I think it went great and you all had a lot of fun. I was wondering if such events have gazebos or everything is in the air. Like, you can’t be sure of the weather, so it would be better if people will be provided with a covering over their heads. I was dealing with this problem when organizing bbq parties at home. One day, our entire meal were lost on the grass, because of the hard wind.
